SPOILERS IN CODE TAGS

AHHH IT WAS FREAKIN' AMAZING!

Probably one of if not THE absolute best movie I have ever seen.

Favorite part:

I dunno I can't think of anything to complain about with this film. I give it a 10 I've never been willing to rate something a 10 before.

As always, PUT SPOILERS IN CODE TAGS, people who don't want to see them DON'T CLICK THEM.

That was really an amazing movie. Heath Ledger really made the joker have an incredible personality with his acting, which is all the more tragic since his demise. He was extremely sadistic while still adding some humorous parts. I really can't find any flaws with the story.

It was good, hard to say if I liked first one more or this new one. Ledger didn't suck, which I thought he might due to the cheezy movie background of his. I liked the katie holmes replacement.

Small gripe about the armor....

I think the villain for the next Batman was obvious after the first 5min of the movie.

@Phaelax:

Best movie I have seen in a long, long time. Absolutely incredible. It really took a lot of twists and turn, but it was a great ride filled with powerful, emotional and tragic elements. That's my review at least

All my movie experiences this year were trumped by Iron Man. Until Hellboy II came out. And then that was trumped a mere week later with The Dark Knight.

Pretty much it was fantastic.

But I'm not quite sure what part of the movie Phaelax is referring to that makes it obvious who the next villain will be unless it was this part...

Oh and that favorite part of yours Agent Dink? Totally awesome.

Just saw that today. Very good. Joker was a creepy bad guy, and that movie was REALLY dark for PG-13...

@Phaelax: Who's the next villain? I heard it's going to be

@flashing snall: Oh yeah, I completely forgot that scene was in the movie. It was such a long (long but amazing!) movie filled with so many great scenes that I forgot some of the beginning

Spoiler alert... Dumbledore dies. Oops forgot the code tags. My friends usually yell that at the beginning of a movie where the 'turn off your phones' commercial is played. We get a lot of free food when that happens... it just happens to be traveling in the air

Dink, did you miss the first movie or what?

I don't think
is really dead, so I think he'll be the next villain.

They have to introduce a villain in the next movie that tops the Joker in terms of difficulty. You can't introduce the
because they don't seem that difficult compared to the Joker.

Dude, two face!

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I read a review that said they introduced his character before he got the, er, makeover.

The next villain better be
because I think he can actually do something dangerous like these two movies, although if they brought back
, they would have to totally reinvent him to go along with the dark nature of the new movies.
would be lame though.

Does anybody else thinks that Christian Bale gets a bit overwhelmed with the whole "make your voice gravely and intimidating" thing when he's Batman?

I think it's fine. He not only does it to be intimidating, but by hearing his voice no one would ever connect it with the smooth suave voice of Bruce Wayne

The Dark Knight is a great film and we all knew it. However, A flaw remains: Too dark and nasty for kids, Too long in some spots, Batman could have brought back the banker without causing that much trouble and we could have seen a modern day batwing instead of an unmarked jet. When the Joker was finally pushed of the building how many of you were thinking, He's going to fall to his death instead Bats saved him for more movies cuss everyone knows, Ya can't kill the Joker. All in all good movie.

After reading all this, I cannot say I agree with you.

I can agree though, that its far above average and a great movie overal. Just not the supermovie I was led to believe it is.

I loved the pencil trick, I loved the blackmailing remark and I do agree that two bad guys in one movie is a bit busy, but that it did work out great.

The music had some odd resemblance to the Da Vinci Code. Hans Zimmer seems to repeat himself a bit.

Just seen it, brilliant!

I thought Batman begins would disappoint, didn't. I thought Dark Knight would be a sequel that takes it too far. It didn't, I liked it. Heath Ledger as the joker I think did a fantastic job, shame about Ledger's death...I don't know about anyone else, but I picked up a sense of irony with Batman fancying Jake Gyllenhaal's sister's character?

Notice some similarities between some of the music between Pirates of the Carribean and Gladiator? I suppose this is what happens when you have to make music on demand.

Anyway...A bit of a contrast from this, eh?

Ahhhh...I love Adam West, not so long ago I bought the original Batman and Robin movie and it was brilliant! Mayor of Quahog in Family Guy!? No I say, he should be Governer of California!

The original Batman and Robin movie owns to this day. Hahaha.

I heard there is talk of the next Batman movie already and they are working on lining up the next villain. One possibility for the Riddler was Johnny Depp (I think I like that idea...not sure). Angelina Jolie for Catwoman... forget who for the Penguin...

Angeline Jolie would make me scream...she's a terrible actress, I can't stand her. If they want a bad cat woman, they already got one - the Halle Berry one.

Johnny Depp, he'd fit the part for the line of 'psychotic' Gotham city villians.

And of course...what about Mr Freeze? Will USA's beloved Californian from Austria care to take the lead in this one again? I mean Arnie, he has a political role now, doesn't that make him a sociopath? Kidding of course...seriously though, check if he wets the bed, it's apparently a sign of sociopathy.

Anyways I hear it will be Johnny Depp as The Riddler.

I went to see this a week ago or so, great freaking movie, seriously, I loved it, even though the ending seemed a bit rushed it was awesome.
And I wouldn't want The Riddler or Catwomen in there as they're all so "unserious" villains if you know what I mean, and catwomen is just... NO! But then again if they make their little version of maybe The Riddler (A more dark version, just as they did with the Joker) it could work.
But I still don't think the next movie can top this one off, Heath Ledgers performance was amazing, and the Joker has always been my favorite anyway.

Awesome movie.

I saw the movie yesterday as well! It was brilliant, absolutely fantastic. It reminded me of the movie "Heat",1995. Heath Ledger was excellent as the joker. I think the film works so great because it is believable unlike other "superhero" films.

Alright the next Villan should be Poison Ivy. Because Jessica Alba or Jessica Biel could be a more suductive villan. That way they could seduce and harm Bruce Wayne because he just lost rachael.

I just saw it again tonight at the IMAX theater (for those of you who don't know it's state of the art theater) and I picked up a few things I didn't catch first time around.

I'm pretty sure they paid someone to fly over. During the conversation about purchasing the boat, I'm pretty sure they mentioned something about hiring some foreigners. It makes sense though, it's the best way to conceal your identity and erase your steps.
