Can all of you stop this stupid flamwar, it has NOTHING to do with the freaking topic, and is completely stupid, sure it's all your own opinions, but do NOT, for the life of me, DO NOT try to force people into believing what you believe, it's all about personal preference (as is most of these BS arguments on the web) everyone has different tastes, and that's the point, no one likes the exact same things.
And therefor what does it give you in life to waste time trying to force people into thinking what you think, when it most likely won't make any difference. I mean come on.

On topic, I really do hope that they base the movie (If they do make a movie) on the book Fall of Reach, as I (And that's ME, not YOU) think that that book was really good.

Seriously, this a bloody forum. Discussing and adding opinions to a topic is entirely valid. Whether Halo is good in general, or good enough to warrant a movie is on topic.

The game is overrated because it is such an excellent game. I say that about Call Of Duty 4, everyone's addicted about getting it, when it just turns out to have dodgy controls and really tiny multiplayr maps.

It doesn't even look real. They used Australian Sunrise font and WIndows Movie Maker to fit the scenes in. There is a conspiracy about the development of the movie though, and I'd quite like to see it. But they'll have to take large chunks out of it to make it good, just remember Eragon, they took mostly the wrong parts from it, which made it a pain to watch after reading the book. Look here:

Actually the movie is going to be released as PG-13 which is probably the worst choice they could ever make but they're going to have an R rated version on DVD.

Ok, So Halo doesn't give any new and shiny gameplay ideals, but it's still fun. Right, now that we've smoothed over the issues with the game, lets talk about the movie, like we're supposed to.......

I saw this "trailer" on YouTube, and I'm skeptical of it's credibility. It may be real, it may be fake, I dunno, what do you think? Moreover, Samuel L. Jackson would be an awesome SGT Johnson......

To those asking why Peter Jackson would direct it, you obviously haven't considered Halo's huge fanbase......

Think about it. If the Halo Movie takes off and turns out to be truly awesome, then it will propel the director and all of his crew into instantaneous fame. But failure will bring them crashing down, I think ol' Petey believes that since the LotR was one his huge successes, then he's got what it takes to make Halo great and fire himself into mega-stardom.....
