I'm pretty sure killing yourself over it is, regardless of the situation.

Compare their technology with ours, and notice there are no current scientists with sane end-of-the-world prophecies.

Back in the days, I think it was Aikicat who posted something about the 'monkeysphere'. Back then I disagreed with it, but looking back at it - appears to be fully true.

It's really nothing to do with the monkeysphere. If my close friend/relative were to die there, I'd be saddened. But I'd still say good riddance, and I'd feel bad I wasn't there to slap him out of his retardation.

Hurray for teh logd!

Quote: "That raises another question: Why would you assume a gravitational formation of stellar debris would ever have a purpose? Because we live on it? Does Mars have a purpose? Does Gliese 876 d have a purpose?"

Well I certainly doubt the planet was formed with the purpose of harbouring human life and allowing us to live in luxury. But we can give it our own meaning. The meaning of existence surely has a broader scope than humanity in mind, but to us, WE can find our own slice of purpose on a planet that we are lucky enough to inhabit- whether or not that purpose actually matters in the grander scheme of things.

I would like to share with you; my e-brethren, that I am making yet NOTHER comic that will soon fail!
