For those of you who haven't played the game, it is the beta version of Spore, but you get the creator in which you creater a Spore. I have posted this as I think it would be a good idea to share our creations on the forum.

Here is one of mine:



Name: John

Description: Meet John. A tub of lard compiled with sharp weapons and an array of various projectiles.Little eyes and tiny mouth, he doesn't really give a damn, as long as there's something full o' fat round the next corner.

EDIT: No offense caused to anyone called John.

There is a flaw with how it defines how complex a creature is, against its attribles.

If you create a creature with a small enough spine that it doesn't add anything to the complexity bar, then add legs (but stretch them so they reach the edges of the boundry box), and add wings (but shrink them so they're pretty much invisible).
You have a creature that now stands taller than anything, and can jump ridiculously high.

This is not a beta version. It was planned as a separate release from the very beginning. The Creature Creator is but one piece of the entire game due out next month.

I'm guessing most of you have bought the creature creator. Will the full game come with the creature creator, or are EA being nasty and making you buy two separate programs?

Hehe, it'll come with the full game ^^ And I'm pretty sure the creature creator buyers will get their money refunded when the full game gets released.

Well I just thought I'd read that, but doesn't seem like it Well the reason they would do the refund or some sort of discount would be when you would buy the full game, so you didn't spend money on the creature creator only, and then later bought the full game for the full price. But oh well, seems like I didn't read it at all, don't know how I got the idea.

I don't know if this is new or old, but anyone seen the merchandise store yet? For your own creatures:

You do get money off when you buy Spore if you have brought the creature creator and can prove it.

ah, well I thought I read something about an offer like that when the creature creator appeared in the EA downloader, but I can't seem to find that info anywhere now, so I wouldn't know.
