You've seen my Chainsaw Brute, but here is another small taste of my new pack that is coming in February.

This guy will make Tank from "Left 4 Dead" tremble! No normal mapping on this guy in the video, but it does show one of the new "general purpose" character shaders that gives some really dynamic lighting with no normal maps required.

You gotta love those sound effects, especially the new walking and running sounds, they really bring the character to life!

I saw Dante on your website on thursday, and I was pretty damn impressed.

I like dogman and that weird scary mental zombie thing.. the one with the straightjacket.

EDIT: Watched the video. Shame it isnt made for a more advanced engine like Source, that would be so awesome for some kind of mutant game...

These are all amazing, bond1. My cash is yours, when this pack is released...

Hmm, I like it, but the run animation doesn't seem right. It's as if he's walking and flapping his arms...

I think giving him more of a gorrila-like gait, like the Hunters in HL2, or the actual Tank in L4D, would look better...

Sorry to be such a pain mate, but that little detail was letting everything else down for me...

It looks very very nice, but I think the running animation looks a bit stiff! Apart from that, I loved all the other anims!

I agree with alimpo.
The running animations could need a bit more attention.
But other than that. The model itself along with the texture looked truly amazing.

And like you said about the "tank" i guess they will.
Truly amazing!
Also the sounds are much better. It makes fighting an enemy much more fun.

Truly excellent model.

I agree about the running! Also the death animation looks a little clunky, but that might be the movement from the death script?!

Very cool though, would be great if he grabbed the player using the plrfreeze command and pounded you!!

Fantastic! I love him. How do you intend to release the pack? Via the Store, or as another FPSC model pack?

It'll have to be a separate model pack because the pack will be rated 18+.

But fantastic work bond1!

I notice he runs like a gorilla, I think when gorillas run there legs come of the ground as there fists hit, might help smooth the animation. I do LOVE the model though, Great Job Bond1.

The sounds are just like the Gannon sounds from Ocarina of Time lol.
he looks great I love the veins, but I think you went a wee bit overboard on the arms, his legs are so tiny he would fall over if he tried to swing at you. Good to see the zombie legs being reused on him though.

Oh my Bond.
That is simply wonderful.
At first I did not like the oversized upper body, but after seeing the animations I really like him.
He puts the awe in awesome.

Are you guys kidding me?
I have to disagree here, because I think those animations looks great. (not trying to brown-nose either, honestly)
He should let you guys try to do better ones.
I'd like to see what you could come up with.

Sorry man but these animations compared to his older models, is a bit stiff.
The model looks great. No doubt about that.
And i would like to do some anims.. But since i am new to the animation world.
I just know i cant do anything like that.
We are not trying to take bond's work down. We are just saying that the anims could be done a bit better.

I know.
I was just disagreeing.

I would like to see Bond do what he does best...make new characters for us.
I love his work, and I feel that any cusomizations would be better left to those people wanting them.
If they mod in their own animations then each person gets exactly what they want, since everyone has different needs anyway.
Then Bond can spend his time creating new stuff, instead of trying to cater to modification requests.

I think that would end up being more productive for Bond which is better for the community overall, but that is just my opinion.

I wasn't being sarcastic.
I would really like to see what the folks here could do with custom animations for that character. (those arms won't be easy)
Whether the results end up good or bad, we could all probably gain some skills doing it.

Yeah, and I actually really like his animations.

And I thought the animations, ESPECIALLY the running animation, was some of my best so far! Haha, oh well, you win some you lose some!

Anyway, expect little altering at this point, although I might check that running animation to make sure it's looping properly.

The theme for this pack is "Freaks and Abominations". The Lobotomy character on my website was inspired by this picture I found on one of those horrible websites of some guy that apparently blew the lower half of his face off with a shotgun. I tell you what, that kept me up for a few nights! It would be cool to script him with his back toward you, and when the player gets close he turns around for a big shock!

Anyway, back to work - I only have about 2 weeks to tie this pack up, I just wanted to give a little preview. Thanks!

He looks great to me, animations included. I think he's really cute and can't wait to buy him. I will hold him, and pet him, and squeeze him, and call him George.

Best.

I did too Bond.
That is why I was shocked to even hear any critisms on that.

I know of a guy who did that. (failed suicide on first attempt)
Then he had to go outside to his truck for more ammo, while his kids outside playing watched. (he succeeded on the second round)

Great work on the model, animations and sounds. I'd like to see a pic of him with your normal map shader if possible.

Oh yeah, I'll have a video when this is released. I've been lucky enough to get some freelance character work for a prototype game destined for the PS3, sweet! I'll need to start that job by the end of January, so I'll need to get this pack wrapped up FAST, or else the pack will have to be put on hold.

Wait till you see the Lobotomy guy - really creepy. He vomits blood on the player, complete with disgusting sound effects!

Wow bond1, you've done it again man
Very impressive! Love the new character!
The sounds sent shivers down my spine

Quote: "Sorry man but these animations compared to his older models, is a bit stiff."

Hm, I get where you guys are coming from, really.
However I just think, well this is a significantly larger and (animation wise) more complex character; and well I just think he did a great job! Not tryin' to argue though.

Can't wait for the pack, you surely have my money

I actually thought the animations are really good. The model looks as good as the creature from Left 4 Dead and the sounds are perfect, loud and bassy.

The only thing I wasn't sure about was the sound of him bounding over to you which I think could be improved. The roars and attack sounds are great.

Thanks for moving the release to early Feb Bond1. Most appreciated.

Congratulations on the PS3 game work, hardly surprising though when your making creatures as good as L4D bosses.

Please don't! I'd rather see a late release and a job well done that trying to rush things out and not have the quality / complete pack. /if you can get the full pack complete in the given time then excellent! If not then please don't rush it.

He looks cool and even if the run animation is a little funky the walking anim is perfectly fine. At any rate, when the pack is released I'm 1000% certain it would be a bargain at 3x the price and 1/3 the quality

Is this going to be an official pack for purchasing on the FPSC homepage or are the models going to be uploaded seperately to the store or sold on a private site?
