Hi guys,
I want to show you some blood overlays for FPSC X9. I made them for the german community at the end of the last year but I think now its time to let become them international^^

in this pack are 40 different blood overlays in two different variations. One without Normalmaps and one with Normalmaps. On the following screen (I'm sorry. It doesn't look very good) you can see it a little bit.

Comments are welcome, I have never saw blood overlays like this for X9.

Have fun. Package attached.

Umm, sorry I'm noobish, but how can I open that file?
The screenshot looks very nice, btw.

Oh, and where can that body be gotten? Because it seems many people use it, but it doesn't come with FPS Creator in the "upwards" pose.

I'm making a game that will be scary... I hope.

@SekoIdiootti: Thank you. It's an ZIP-File. You have to extract it with a program like WinZIP. if you have Windows XP you only have to right-click on the file and choose "Extract all..." or something like that.

Then you get an Folder called "bd_specialoverlays". In it you'll find another folder called "FPSCreator". You copy this folder into your "TheGameCreators" Folder. Answer the following warnings with "Yes, to all"

Hope you like it

EDIT: Oh, The upload of this site seems to be faulty.

here is the new DOWNLOADLINK

May I ask, how long did it take to make these?
Because they look like they would be for some game like F.E.A.R. 3 or something if they would ever make that. So great quality...

Yeah, I remember these from the german Site, nice work, but one Question tough... Did you've worked on the white "Outlines" around the Blood?

'Cause some of the old ones were... a bit, low quality.

You can rotate Entitys using R/1/2/3/4/5/6.

Of course you can^^ All in all approx. three weeks I think. The most of them are made with Photoshop and some brushes. Some are sponsored by FPSBanana.com. The most time-intensive part of this blood overlays, was the creating of the normalmaps for each overlay and the editing of each .fpe...Of course, this is not much work...but the quantity is the problem^^

Thank you very much...but I don't think, that the quality is equal to FEAR, because there are the blood 3dimensional as particles.

Yes this is the revised edition. There shouldn't be white "outlines" anymore.

More comments are welcome

If your game is non-commercial of course you can. A little credit to me would be nice.

Yes, but only a few...

These look great!
I tried creating overlays with normal maps before but it didnt work. Is there something you have to different for overlays or is it the same as any other entity?

They all display very pixely ingame... I think it's a .dds compatibility problem. Then again, I don't know if your pack even included .dds's.

I've got no critque beyond what is already said, however the filetype that you've provided in your download is not a .zip file.

Can you please upload it to megaupload or some other file hosting service to avoid this bug?
