The test was alright. the shooting a´nd that kinda stuff was pretty hard tought. And the ruins, where you shoot the enemies (who are far awaaaaayyy) so the ruins are untextures.
They're white. the gameplay was ok, altought I didn't like the shootind. It was kinda... I don't know how to say it... unlikeable for me. It was kinda slow.
Oh! and one thing! I picked up a machine gun from one enemy and it was in 1st person. And it was a stock gun... But game is cool, and the 3rd person is unigue (for an fps creator game).

Oh and I see that you achieved in 2 things that almost no-body else didn't! The game was 3rd person, and there was a seeable body! LoL! (mu humour, I know)...

as i said this was only for testing the 3rd person shooting the stock characters and stock guns will not be in the final release everything will be retextured at list..and some things will be made by me!!thanks for commenting.Ihe game wont be bam boom and lets go to the next level i am courently playing many 3rd person games and rpgs so that i can find the secret of wanting to play without always killing enemys..and i found out something that i will post in another topic...so stay tuned and help me with that.XD..Be aware that the game wont be boring i am trying to make it humorous-scary-adventury-mindshking and many many other and enjoyable.....

I liked the simple 3rd person you did and did it myself. If i were to use fenix mods scripts i could improve it so much. I can easily just copy and paste any character hud.x and the third person will work like a charm too! No editing needed.

Anyways tried the demo and its really good keep it up

It was very good. The conrols aren't that bad afterall. You just need to get a hang of it, like in every other game. The scene was great. I liked the ufos bombing me. Now I see what you ment abuot that, that you don't want the up-down looking. LoL. It's funny when you look down and jump. When not walking! But it was very good.

3026 topic view...ohhh that is my bigest topic....anyway thanks for playing and comenting i want tour opinions specialy in the level design and mood if you like yhe mood and if the sound trees buildings etc give the mystirious and abandomed look that i want to achieve...i am in a really good way of developing the game many troubles that i have are being solved as i wait for fenix mod for the up and down view fix...so plz everyone who plays the game comment rate....

so when you press the swithc you get more ufos...then an transporter comes right out of the house and you get in and you get to the spachip....demn it..that is not in the demo ok i will upload the whole level...wathc the making of video closely and you will notice something that doesnt belong in the level....that is how the bombs work

Looking good so far keep it up btw just got fallout 3 and every expansion and from what i've seen this is very similar to it. I dont mean that in a bad way in the slightest i mean your game looks as if its a lower quality fallout! Good job keep it up!

All these comments and views make me wonder, when will they change threads name? And I like new firekind of screenie. You have some
skills there buddy. I hope to see more of this. The game play must be the most unique in the forums. I like it. Maby if you just change the story a tiny bit (someone said that) it's fallout-ish. But I don't know fallout's story. But I could imagine me buying this indeed! Good job!

PS: Check Ship Invaders. Give some tips if you have any. If not post c+c please. That might have been rude to mention my game on another thread, but what you're gonna do?

News so currenty you must know that the game dont have lame 300 lines dialog with npc's i made everything simple so that the player dont get bored of reading the story of the guard...example
when you walk close to an npcs he dont say:
hi i am Graoeblih from the river city os starcrouzer and my ancle is from japan that told me to come here to look for food cause m'cdonalds are closed and i need help will you help me with this yes or no?
i made it so that when you walk close to an npcs he says:

hi what do you want?and then you kinda speak with him asking the question that you must ask so that you anderstand imediatly what you have to do or what is the mission about or what next

news...big news i used 3rd person of rpoject blue um and got extreamly dissapointed 1 you cant jump 2 you cant open doors 3 the enemys dont see you they only see the first spot that you started...4you cant shoot 5 camera goes behind wals and everything....for visual it look very good but doesnt work properly....so if i wont solve the problems i will stick to the old fashion way...see the video to give your opinion

yeah probably you are right i will give it up...the only thing that was good with plys camera was up and down view...but f*ck it...even if you want be able to see around so much....many games have there own view style so that will be my style.....

Yes, I also like the original look of the 3rd person view.

Any chance of posting a screen looking up?
I do like your approach as a selected style. Does anyone know how the mouse is mapped in DBpro, or is this something that can't be done.

here are the visual difference.......you cant zoom when targeting with plys mod and you cant shoot the only thing that works is the view.

I may be out of my league here.
If the mouse is mapped in DBpro with x,y axis like a analog stick. If the Y axis could be removed. then only X would be active. Except this would only allow left to right views if it was possible to edit the code, I do not know if its listed as X, Y.


Another option, and a random idea.
If the 360 controller layout can be customized, setting movement (forward/backwards etc.) on the right analog. And then map the view to the directional pad. only on X axis (left/right). And disable Up, Down... somehow maybe.
It would be interesting to know how hard it would be for Lee to release a custom 360 update, with custom controls for 3rd person.

I have not done alot of research on the 360 controller update, and am not sure if the controls can be customized apart from a basic layout.
If I can work out any more, I'll let you know.
