Wow Kravenwolf! This is amazing! Can't wait for the new machines after this, then I can make a game as good as Nazi Zombies fan game. Maybe not as good as yours.

Nazi zombies???
I really need to get CoD5 and play that level, so I can see all the fuss about these nazi zombies.

"speed beverage" lol, that's right, why call it an energy drink?

speed - wondering about this one (for modded engines only, right?)

armor - i love it (HEALTH drinks would be great)

extra lives - wondering about this too (mod?)

Don't forget one for the super jump now that we have NEWJUMPHEIGHT=X

I guess the added speed and the superjump could be timer based so that they would return to normal levels forcing a rebuy.

Quote: "Great idea. These will be very useful. I can't wait to download."

This is a great idea and a great fit for any cash based game.

I gotta script a superjump one now.
Maybe put the health add in then do the jump on a timer, but have them both in the same drink.

Quote: "...personally, I hope he charges for them."

Yeah, why not?

Update
The Speed Cola Machine is finished, and available for FREE download

Video can be seen here.

@Conjured, thanks for the ideas. We added a timer system to the speed perk, which wears off after x amount of time. Maybe you can take a look at the script and see if you can somehow work in the newjumpheight command with it.

@Thanks to everyone else for the comments. The first machine is finished, and available for download. If we get enough feedback from this first one, we'll start work on the next perk

OOOPS!

Quote: "For use with Ply's Mod."

How did I miss that?!?!
I'm slippin'

I'm not sure which his mod is using v1.07 code or v1.15

If it is the v1.07 , then disregard the jump height stuff, because I had overlooked the using Ply's mod thing.

I know it was the first thing you said but the picture caused me to overlook it.
You guys know I don't post in the Ply's Mod threads, because I use the stock engine.
Sorry I overlooked that.

Quote: "Video can be seen here."

I love that sound effect with the can-top-pop and guzzle, and I know you had the timer so short for the sake of the video length.

Nice Job

So it won't work with default FPSC version 1.0.0.1? Because that's what I have, because I haven't ever been able to update it...

SekoIdiootti: Without atleast FPSC 1.07 you will get nowhere today so I suggest you update to 1.07-1.09.

Good so far, however the machines need some sort of logo on them as the texture itself just looks kinda plain. See if you can design a logo on the front of the machine to make them stand out and look unique.

This was really one of those 'nothing better to do' projects; and not something I started into planning to add in elaborate detail. I just wanted to provide a few quick models to go along with Hockeykid's scripts. But, there's no reason why people that use the models can't create their own logos on the textures to make them a little more unique for their own games.

Nice, it's simple to say that you have a lot of interest in NZ then . May I try to do a re-texture on the speed beverage? Just to kick up my texturing skills? I'll post it here if you wish .

Well, it's not by any means my favorite game, but it's still really fun. And since the actions are so easy to replicate in FPS Creator, I figured...why not?

Kravenwolf,

I don't know if you have noticed, but if you do Speed Cola (faster reloading) on Shi No Numa, it doesn't just speed up your reloading. ME and my mate on Xbox LIVE found out the other features:

Pros:
-Faster run and sprint speed
-Faster reloading
-Faster swamp travelling

Cons:
-Lower jump height
-Lower gun damage (try it with the Thompson on round 15, with and without SC)

If you add those in the Speed Beverage would rock (or I could try it lol). ANyway, about the textures: I've made the _N and _S maps for X10 and shader use, but I found out that I completely suck at UV texturing . If you want, I'll post the textures up when I get a decent connection .

The file is no longer available for the speed cola! Argh, no! I just remembered to grab this! If the file doesn't work again, could you send me the speed cola to me? I really needed this.

But it looks great, can't wait till you release the rest.

Oh, sorry. Always forget to check the dates My bad, I'm so absent-minded. Ah, well, I hope they do make a comeback though, cause I really need this for a non-zombie game. Whatever.

I don't have the speed cola machine anymore. It was deleted along with the Nazi Zombies Update, Training Grounds, and all of the other files I was hosting on my filefront account. If anyone still has the model, I wouldn't have a problem with them reuploading it here.

Anyway, the other three machines were never finshed. Me and Hockeykid got caught up with other projects, and after the comments on this thread died down, we decided to stop working on these.
