Yeah $250 is one hefty price tag for a mod. It's ridiculous to expect that much but Hockey is doing the right thing in trying his hardest to get it for us (I presume it'll still be free).

Hobby site or not, it's dfficult to fault knxrb for asking that if the code is being sold exclusively. Think about the amount of time/hours spent on the coding vs. what 250 breaks down to. That's less than 40 hours at $7 an hour! I'm pretty sure he's spent more time than that and that his time is worth more than that.

I agree about the bit about The Peoples Republic of Kaliforniastan though (so glad to be outta there lol)

Although last night I had some problems with the disable fire, couldn't seem to get it working when the player steps into the zone, will keep trying though

I could use a money script template, as I am not a scripter. I am really good at level design, and I am learning UV mapping right now. so scripting is the last thing on my list to learn right now. I can only do basic stuff like put actions with conditions to make something simple.

anyways, it would be nice to get horror mod, but maybe take $25 off? 250 is a LOT! I could upgrade my pc for that, and it is still a lot of work. Gonna go to a turkey shoot today, and if I win any money at least half will go to the funds if my mom will use one of her bank cards or something for it.

if knxrb already made 30-something sales at $20 a piece, thats at least $600 he has pulled in from customers. Sure he can sell it for what he wants, but the FPSC creator program itself goes for around $40. I realize this is a mod with extra features added, but it seems like he has been paid for those features and would like a cut of the future sales. What he is asking still seems very expensive. Good luck and hope you can round up the money.

I think that for the money all is fine, but I do think that $250 is alittle high. I haven't heard if hockeykid will make his mod for free or will he just make everyone pay for the new version if he gets it. I think that it should be free, since some of us have donated to make it possible for him to get it. That's my opinion, but I would still like to see the two together, so we can get back to making games with it.

theres one that came with the scripts in the download its called currency.fpi just put it on a trigger zone.

Great job, I will use it from now on, although, everytime I save my level, the screen inside the FPS creator window ges blank and whenever something (Like another window) comes up, it leaves a black mark on teh screen, and I cant get it to work unless I exit it, which takes a long time, then an error message comes up, and it exits out. Any ideas? This doesnt happen in "Vannila" FPSC.

I have the latest fenix mod but it's not there. there is a showmoney.fpi, but I need something like a template for and item you buy, one to sell a weapon maybe, and one to add money from a trigger zone.

Hey hockey,how do you use the flashlight script?I tried putting it in a trigger zone,i had my ambience at 0,but when i stepped in the zone,nothing happened.So how is it used?

You don't have to step in the trigger zone, just put it on a trigger zone and press f.

Another problem with DarkAI,i know its beta,but if you put your allies in different rooms than you,they will literally walk through doors untill there in the same place as you lol

Anyway,back on topic,if once hockey gets the source then intergrates it into fenix,i want him to realese it AT ONCE!Though this wont happen because theirs probably more features in fenix he want to mess with.Heck,he might not even intergrate the source.He might make it its own mod(not likely) but who knows?
