@Xplosys,

I enjoyed the very well tailored "Pinball Wizard" adaptation, a great deal.

@Cosmic Prophet,

In regards to the progress on your 747: utterly speechless.

Absolutely stunning work.

A suggestion for a future pack:

A series of themed post-mayhem events, which would offer a quick and dirty way to generate static environments.

Bombed Out

The Massacre (Well ventilated structures & stained corpses)

Fiery Explosion

After The Flood

Avalanche / Rockslide

Bridge Out

After The Quake (Dominoed structures, fissures in the earth, etc.)

Something Big Came Through Here (Godzilla / Cloverfield-esque)

There has actually been cave packs before, two if I remember. Not sure if the downloads for them are still active, I'm suprised no one has downloaded everything that has been put on the models sections and mirrored it as one huge depository of media. But yea, there has been at least two really good cave packs released on these boards.

Mainly because that's against the AUP.

Yes, it's 'real' blood that spurts and people can explode into bloody body parts (if you get the right Perk), that's why it's 18 rated.

Hi,

Some great suggestions here...

Cosmic, if you're still after ideas, how about a wild west pack? I think you might have done a few entities awhile back which were very good..

Would be cool if we all would make a pack with all ideas stated in this thread. I would join for sure making some nice models.

Anyway... Expect some screens friday (then i will start on some scifi and cave things).

Ha! I just got it today. (I cant belieive it only took 3 days to ship). Anyway the only word for FO3 is WOW! ( At least what I'm alowed to say here anyway).

My God, This is one incredible game. The detail is amazing, and all the models are beutiful! Megaton City is the bomb!

Man, I want to build nearly everything I see! And Huuuuge! doesn't come close. Too bad FPSC doesn't have maps that big. It would be virtualy impossible to build the wasteland in FPSC. Too bad.

It has, so far, given me a load of ideas for some new models though.

Glad you like it! Once you complete it get the add-on pack: Broken Steel / Lookout Point.

If you can make a model pack that looks half as good as FO3 then I think I'd have to go do something private!

Just to help you along, here's a 400mb hi-res texture pack someone has created for FallOut3 to make the in game textures even better (?). It's free to download and could well provide textures for your models.

I remember, back when I had fallout 3 for only a few weeks that I learned hot to dump the Fallout - Textures.bsa, and to my knowledge, there textures weren't very high resolution. I'm talking like,512x and stuff for most of the items. But then again most of the beauty was all in the shaders
BTW there texturing style was really good, if any of you have actually seen any of there uvw maps you'll know what I am talking about.

Hi all, I'm still here, And I've already started on the nuke city pack. I plan to continue work on the cave pack as well, but as with most who have tried it, getting the collision issues worked out is proving to be a real pain in the... well you know.

Anyway keep your eye out for the Nuke City thread some time in October.

Hey Nickydude, could you post some screens of the various props and items lying around fallout 3? You see I have the good old 3ds max open yet my imagination has been dead for years.
Thanks if you can

I'd like all that cave stuff and all, but I'd like like some skeletons´. Like the stock one, but in different poses.

Yep thats Mutants in that last shot, you can see that these are some of the easiest models to make , simple mesh them add the mutantatification, is that a word or did I just make it up, anyway the mutant effects, the lumps and bumps can be added with zbrush type programs, a whole pack can be made as they are much simpler to make than any other character model at all.

Try searching for FallOut 3 on YouTube, you'll get a better look at the FallOut world.

Its a shame with Fallout 3 that Australia doesn't have R rating for games. Us adult folk dont get the full graphical benefits of the games, which is very annoying.

Yeah, Fallout 3 is great. The constant crashing bugs me though. Whenever it starts to use up more than 2.84 GB of my RAM it crashes. No questions asked. Time for me to get 64-bit Vista...

Man, I reinstalled it and I have been addicted! Let me tell you though, with my sketch pad I've found and drawn so much content, I've been working on a lot of models, so be prepared to see something from me sometime soon

What I've noticed when doing the FallOut cave test using Higgins Cave Pack is that the more 'sculpted' (more complicated the mesh) the more it lags, so that's something to look out for.

Yes we do, the only thing that was edited was the names of the drugs.

Which was also a world-wide edit so everyone has the same copy.

yea i know.. that ticks me off like in L4D 2..they are removing 50-60% of the "Graphical content" like the dead bodies and mass blood

L4D2 without the blood and dead piles of bodies isnt L4D2 *Cries in the corner*
