So I wanted to make my own model.
I followed the manual, step by step.
And when I press Test Level, i looks good untill it gets to "[313]Loading active guns..." and I then get this error:
Runtime Error 7018 - Could not load 3D object at line 13798

then I press OK, and a few seconds later i get this error:
The application has encountered a problem and needs to close. Extra Debug Info: 0 0

.
So what's the problem? I can see tge .x files works at DirectX Viewer on the DirectX Sample Browser (August 2009)
and same goes for the .dds files where it loads without any problems with the DDSWithoutD3DX11 at DirectX Sample Browser (August 2009).

All of the things I got are inside here:
C:\Program Files\The Game Creators\FPS Creator Free\Files\gamecore\guns\modernday\biggun

This is what it says in the manual:
Here are the steps to adding your own weapon.
1. It is far simpler to copy an existing weapon, rename and modify than
create one from scratch.
2. Navigate to the FPS Creator\Files\gamecore\guns\modernday\commando
3. Copy the entire folder and contents to a new folder, perhaps called FPS
Creator\Files\gamecore\guns\MyNewGuns\
4. Make sure your new folder is located inside the gamecore\guns folder
5. Rename your new folder to gamecore\guns\MyNewGuns\BigGun\
6. Copy all your models, textures, sounds and images to this folder using the
same names as the existing files. The filenames are self-explanatory

I know, I know...In the manual it said that I should have copied the commando folder, but it doesn't exist in the FPS Creator\Files\gamecore\guns\modernday\ . I've never been there deleting folders or files before. So instead of copying the nonexistens commando, i copied modernday as you can see above.

Please help, I've been on this for many days and this just won't work for me.

Are you running FPSC Free?

Plus,
Quote: "modernday as you can see above."

If you copy the modernday folder, that's not going to do anything. You have to copy folders like 'Autoslug' or 'Blaster', etc. Hope that helps...

Meanwhile I hopefully get an answer that resolves my problem, does anybody know anything how to animate eyes with textures like in zelda ocarina of time?
