No you have to animate.
Animating guns to do that is teh easiest thing in the world

yes i know, with milkshape. But is there only a walk effect in the animation, or also a run animaton?

No I am talking to (or trying to get ahold of) Hockeykid on MSN to add that to Fenix Mod. It would be really easy to add that in.
For now you just have to use it as the move animation.

Ahh.

That would be so cool!

Run animations... We'd have to get EAI to add that too all of his guns.

And just so you know, I personally don't like anything about 3d modelling. My screen is 2d. It's not made for this.

But yeah. That would be awesome.

I'm working on a mod that should have extra run animations but I keep getting unknown syntax errors from airmod features and it's very frustrating

Of course it's possible, but like it's already been said, you have to create the animations first.

you have to make an animation of the gun shaking side to side to run, then use airmod gunspec commands (i believe airmod supports it) to use it in game.

Just make a simple script (Needs Fenix) when ever the player has the certian weapon and press the "shift" button (which is the sprint button) then force the animation simple as pie.

oh, there aren't airmod commands? I thought airmod had it. anyways no, you'll have to write it yourself unless I happen to find the time to write it for you.

A tip isn't someone doing all of the work for you. This is a tip:

My 'tip' to learn the basics of animating, would be to start by learning how to rig your own weapons to EAI hands.

EDIT:
You could even work on fixing EAI's slanted weapons in Airmod sights

And yes, you need to know animation!
There is NO kind of sprint/run script without animation!

Oh and i must correct myself, i think you can do it without fenix.
