Before you ask, WWC is still in the works, I just have a slacking voice actor. to quell my boredom, I'm working on this game.

TEAM:
Level design: Bugsy
Custom HUDS and models: TheK
Scripter: shadowtroid

This project uses fenix mod 1.1 and will have 2 seperate games included. the first game will be a level so you can get your barings and learn how to use your weapons (really more of a level design showcase to those who already know how to play FPS) and the second level will be a large sandbox where you have to hold out against a massive force of enemies until the extraction chopper arrives. (60 points. 1 point per kill, -2 points per civillian kill)

here is a pic of the first level(game)

this was a team request on moltenbytedesign forum but didn't get commented on. let's see what people here think.

This looks good, no one has ever done a slum setting in FPSC before so this should be interesting, nice screen maybe add some wooden bridges across the buildings.

The thread on Molten Byte Design's forum didn't get commented on, as there aren't many members. I would post on it, but I don't think I'll be able to help. That said, the idea is sound, and quite possible in FPSC.

Nice work. I like your screens as always!

nice job! I LOVE that screenshot! It's just one of the most awesomest you see here! It's not just the stuff you see everyday, it's a very nice scene!

I like the idea of this...Big and open, but small and confined...

It has the bigness of a town, but the close quarters that FPSC likes so much...

Good idea. I LIKE it!

Because it's an outdoor-ish game turn up the ambience a notch and make a yellowish light in the approximate location of the sun in the skybox. Then post some screens and thank me for my wisdom

Looking nice though.

Needs brighter lighting, have an ambience of about 10 so shadows still have lighting

EDIT: oh yeah, do some reasearch on shantytowns, its gonna be very hard to look good, the problem being it will be very good or extremely poor

yours is on the bad side of that balance as it look way too uniform

Hey Bugsy, you are using Fenix Mod, right?

Also, I could be your scripter...but I am somewhat new to scripting (I have however shown a knack for it ) so if you said no or got another scripter I'd be fine. I could probably learn a good amount.

Still needs a higher ambience though

yeah. I think it's nice, I'll up it a little bit though.

@shadowtroid- I'd love you to script for me. that'll be for level part 2. this is just a level design showcase. level 2 will be mainly about gameplay. and I will add some more detail to the level. I'm not great at getting good shots of detail.

Hey Bugsy if you're looking for a decent wire for your alley scenes, I'd suggest taking a look at Dr. Parsnips old pack which you can find here; there's actually quite a few great models in that urban pack that might fit nicely in your project.

Cheers

Life would be much easier if I had the source code.
