So obviously my other thread got kinda messed up and i decided to try a different approach. Here's my whole idea :

FPS Creator is a good engine , but it has very little resources when it comes to visuals and audio like huds, crosshairs, scopes, intros, logos, loaders, cutscenes, soundtracks and all that,so I decided to make a pack which will include a lot of these resources above,so that the average game developer can have a wider variety.

Heres what I have planned (and done) so far :

( = Done , = Still Working on it)

1. 30 New Crosshairs in 4 different colors
2. 10 Sniper Scopes
3. 10 Loading Screens
4. 10 Wallpapers Done - July 15
5. 5 Different Hurt HUDs Done - July 8
6. 2 Gas Masks (Plain Camo,Desert Camo)
7. 2 Binocular Huds
8. Various Intro Sounds
9. Raindrops HUD (I can't help it,I'm a Need For Speed fan lol)
10. 2 Loader UI's
11. 4 New Gamecovers

Ofcourse the pack will be FREE,and everything from my other thread will be included in it - http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=172249&b=24&msg=2043466#m2043466

Let me know if you have any ideas you want to see in the pack and if you think this will be usefull at all.

BIG UPDATE - Finally after a long wait the pack is ready to be released.Download Initial Part 1 here : http://www.mediafire.com/?l3i39kt1g11eleg

Remember.I haven't showed you guys some stuff that's included,so you're getting some bonuses from me.Also if the thread gets 120 responses overall , I'll include a free wallpaper psd on top of the other.

Cheers,Gencheff

Another idea might be to include stuff like menu graphics (buttons), and skyboxes, as well as animated decals, etc. All kinds of EFX!

If this gets off the ground, I'll be more than happy to contribute something.
(As soon as I get the community sci-fi pack wraped up).

Great idea, and be sure to post at least one in-game screenshot on this thread so it dose'nt get locked.

Hey Cosmic,
I already have buttons and menus in mind. The skyboxes are going to be somewhat of a problem.I tried some time ago to make some but they turned out kind of wrong..

Alright i've done some loading screens :
The first 2 are actually ingame screenshots with a little photoshop effects from my project.

I'm not very happy with the results though, so i'll probably mess around with them more.

Yeah , they can be a real pain. Makes me miss guys like "Fallen One" being around. Man, he was good with those skyboxes."

Anyway, the stuff looks awesome. Do you model as well?

Wow coldfire, the loading screens are awesome. Though will we be able to edit them? your doing a great job and I would not call yourself a noobie at all. I still can create loading screen, or boxes, or corss hairs. What you are making is something we lack as you have said in your post. Your doing an awesome job!! keep up the good work!

No,it's not illegal.Let's look at the facts :

I'm NOT making a profit out of it!

These are samples EDITED (meaning there are changes in the design of the whole games for windows thing)

It's up to you once you get the archive with all the stuff to edit the covers.I just put it for how do you say, color?

Now since the covers will come in PSD format, which means they can be FULLY EDITED BY YOU,I'm not held responsible if the person downloading-You releases a game with my cover and the Windows Logo on it.Did I release anything yet on my behalf?NO,this is showcasing.

On a side note - with all of the unnecessary amounts of money I gave to Microsoft,I should be able to walk inside Bill Gates' house and taking anything I want ...

that was a joke if you didn't get it ^

I was just saying if u put em up for dl then don't include the win logo or else some retards will use it and they'll get in truble then blame u, just a sugjestion. I don't want 2 be ur enemy i m just trying to save you from bills loyer... unless that's wut u took lol

Lol,It's all good.Maybe I overreacted a bit.I'll take that into consideration when releasing it.

Just for the record my father is a lawyer and my grandfather a judge, plus I'm also thinking of following that path soon,so I pretty much got the bills covered lol

Now back on topic - I did some experiments with camo textures for Errant's weapons and this is the result (It's for m16a4)
