Nox Aeterna mean eternal darkness in Latin which represents the darkness of the caves and The Forgotten part is named that way because of all Russian civil miners and scientists that were buried and forgotten in the underground along with the failed experiment that gets reviled by playing the game...

Oh WHAT THE HELL !!

I was about ready to make build a demo so I tested lvl 2 for the final time and out of nowhere these random errors and bugs appeared!
All of them mostly revolving around entities...

-The entity ground is black in some places
-Doors are black
-Keys and switches won't are invisible or black
-The default audio set in global script won't play
-AI and physics processing is on max even though there is nothing needing AI or physics in the whole level.

ARGH!!!

I REALLY need you help people!

And if you're that kind of people that are like vultures and only care for new pics, here:

Sounds like you used FPSC 1.16 and upgraded to 1.17 while making the level? That's the only logical conclusion I can come up with. Really sucks to see this like this

I've been having it with v1.17, that almost every single door and key is black. And every gun too, even when holding. Only things that show up correctly are the fantasy Pack's weapons, they actually kinda glow in the dark. I hope someone finds a solution. There is more than one in the need of solution.

Zay this game looks very good. But your mistake is using 117. you and everyone else should not use 117 to make a game. 117 and 118 is good for getting use to the new Features and looking for bugs to fix and report this to Lee. it going to take a long time before the new fpsc is ready for game build. believe me I have been finding many bugs and work around for a long time this is why my games are still in beta test. I have a game that I been working on for 8 months. never made it to wip. best solution 115 pb mod 1.7. plus pb mod has better performance. I know the old ai lacks but hay you wait for 118 final or use fenix mod. I really would like to see this game in action. good luck.

more than what meets the eye

A small but important update!

I've fixed some of the bugs and found a very talented Russian voice actor for the role that's going to sort of subliminally guide you through left behind audio cassettes.

That's all for now because yesterday was a hell of a lot fun day filming a short indie action flick.

Cheers!

First of all: this project is getting better and better.

Second: build some other levels, and rebuild this one.

Maybe the bugs disappear the way they came. I already had that multiple times while redoing the levels for euthanasia. So we have the same trouble.

Hmmm...what's better?
A Russian speaking English in a Russian accent
or
A Russian speaking Russian with subtitles?

Wolf:
First of thanks
Second, like I said I already fixed most of the bugs so rebuilding wouldn't be necessary.I'm also thinking of scratching off the rail-ish mine cart shooter idea cause it would stick out like a sore thumb.

Quick Update,
I made an interesting atmosphere hud (you'll see) that fits very well also I might get even some more help with weapons from our well know Wolf.
What else, what else ... oh! ... I still don't know how to fix a random audio bug.The game background music (that's set in the Build menu) doesn't appear for some weird reason but only in the Forgotten lvl 2 and Forgotten lvl 2.1 levels .
So any help on that would be really appreciated!

I say,it feels like forever!

Anyway,I uploaded a new Nox Aeterna Video here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lGqpfvxwrsY
Showing of some new some old stuff that's going to be in The Forgotten.
Also I already have three Russian voice actors (yay) volunteering for some voice work,so that's great.
But that's pretty much for now,be sure to leave a comment or atleast give a big warm thumbs up on the video

Cheers!

Video looks good.

Tho, one thing...is that m4 intentionally angled? If not than theres a proper gunspec released which aligns it better.

Thanks Abdul!
You can believe how much you helped me out right now!

Anyway,as I'm typing this it's 22:37 and I'm leaving tomorrow to the beach for the whole weekend with my friends so I won't be updating this weekend. To make up for this I'm going to show a pic that's going to show something the video failed to show because of Youtube.

What this picture should be showing is:
-A filmgrain AND bloom fullscreen shader
-An awesome Bizon rifle donated to me by Wolf (thanks a huggy bunch )
-A shadow edge hud

That's all for now,
be sure to leave a comment or something because they mean a lot more than you think and have a nice day!

Cheers!
