I have noticed in the gallery that the screenshots people take of their games look AMAZING. Is is the rendering or something I can download?

Looks to me like they just use Bond1's shaders (or similar)

I'd love to see things from your point of view but I can't get my head that far up my bum.

This is x10 PS 4.0. You can't get that look in x9.

So does X9 look inferior to X10 cause of the Shader?

I want as realistic a look as possible.

Yes. FPSC x10 looks far better than x9 due to the Direct x10 tech. Hands down, x10 looks better than x9. Especially out of the box.

Out of the box yes, but alot of work can be done to make X9 look good, look at some of Bond1's shaders.

Also, update to 1.17/18 if you havent yet.

lets not turn this into a X10 is better than X9 or vice-versa conversation/argument.

I have updated, and yes I've used a plethora of shaders. And no, I'm not trying to start an x10 vs x9 argument.

Ok, if I go to Preferences and Enable FULL Shader Effects..will that make that graphics better?

I don't get how to use bond1's shaders...would the DarkShader program work with FPSC?

Thanks,
-Dave

You have to create _D.dds _D2.dds _I.dds and _N.dds Those are diffuse, specular and normal maps. Then your have to add following line
( x means segment number.) to your .fps file. Then run game game and. Got it.

You must need update 1.17 o 1.8beta 1 to get that line to work.

Check for pure horror.

I've seen his tutorials, but I don't get what program he is using. Usually it is DarkShader, but idk if that works with FPSC stuff....

What can I use?

There's links to them in his threads.

You don't need DarkShader to follow his tutorials, he uses it in them to show the textures without opening FPSC.
