Hi,

I just recently stumbled upon the CAT skeletal animation system.
I've been using an older 3ds Max version for the last 4 years which did not have this feature.
I'm curious if anyone of you has used this to rigg a character and successfully exported it into the .x mesh format (through kwxport or panda).
The new system seems to have some advantages over the biped system.
I wasn't able to get any answers from another forum since they export into fbx.

Yes you can export CAT rigged character models to .x and they will run just fine.

These there rigged animated and exported using CAT well before the plug in became standard in Max.

Not sure about muscles but I did use spring controllers for a wobbling belly and butt on a fat guy and these worked a treat so I dont see why not...
