Hi.
So i saw this topic http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=168924&b=24 where butter fingers set free his product but the links are seem to be out of date..i mean they are not working. i searched all topic with butter cutter and i wonder if some one have it would be so nice to upload somewhere where i can download it. since its free its no longer a piracy just data sharing in the right way.

also if some one can give me anything to communicate with butter fingers would be cool too. i wonder if he is still active?

Here's a link to Butter's last known email and website...

But he hasn't been active for quite sometime now. Also,
even though he released his product for free one cant reupload it
without permission. If you want/need a "cutter" have you looked
at Explosys's HoleZ?

My games never have bugs. They just develop random features..

You can find HoleZ by clicking my sig. It may not have the flair of Butter Cutter, but it might work for you.

maxi360,

I have ButterCutter and can post it here, however....

The image you posted depicts neither the name ButterFingers nor his product ButterCutter. If you can have him contact me at brian at centsplus dot com, I will be happy to post it and get it to others here who have sites to save/share things like that.

I'm not in the FPSC scene any more really, but I still get a fair amount of people asking for me to re-release these.

I can't be bothered with the hastle of dealing with payments, or customer support, so here they are for free. They are now destributed as-is. I have no idea if they work with the latest version of FPSC or X10, and I will not be working on them any further.

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL ME WITH QUESTIONS REGARDING HOW TO USE THIS PACK.

Best support you can give in return is to check out Bushido Shuffle over at the WIP boards, been working on it for over a year.

anyway, enjoy people!

LICENCE WISE:

You are free to do whatever the heck you like with these. Probably 0.1% of FPSC games go commercial, and 0.0001% will make any real money, so commercial use is totally fine.
The only thing you can't do is resell anything, you can make new elements using the techniques I created, that's totally fine, but you can't re-package this stuff and sell it on.
all clear? Obviously a credit would be nice."

This is from Butters original post when he released them before.

Enjoy!

EDIT:
I have added these to my site along with Butters most sought after game Umbra.

Thanks mate. That would help the lot. But is there any other piece of software that can be used to create CSG meshes?

@starmind 001
Thanks for finding that post. Umbra is def worth saving.

@Mriganka
Any modeling program can be used to create CSG meshes. Probably the most used here would be SketchUp, Blender or MilkShape.

Then it's just a matter of adding/adjusting the additional files to make them work. Those additional needed files can be found in ButterCutter, HoleZ or FPSCreator itself. If that's not what you meant, then disregard.
