yre but the reproductive stuff is the most complex, it is controlled by 2 different bodies working together, i dont see how that could have been eveolved from single celled organisms that reproduce by splitting themselves in half... even though thats how we start off in the womb, those single celled cretures just grew into a blob rather then growing into an organ let alone body

Awww, that's a compliment I haven't heard for ages.

Me, I'll sit and write this love song as I all too seldom do
build a little fire this midnight. It's good to be back home with you.

Quote: "Then I tend to view debate radically different from you. To me, with debate, there are winners and there are losers. The winners aren't necessarily the ones who get in the last point, and the losers aren't necessarily the ones that can't address all of the points."

psycologically, it is normally the person who is right that will loose the arguement, because they realise they are wasting there time so walk off, although some people use this as an act in public debates by saying "im right and im walking off" when they kno they are wrong, so people think they are right. once you get used to this you soon realise they have actually walked off cos they've just realised how much of an ass of themselves they've made

@Froogle

"one thing i don't see how could of formed naturally through evelotuion from 1-celled oraganisms, the reproductive system/organs."

This probably started out with the earlier single celled organisms that reproduced by injecting their genes into other single cell organisms. The host organism would die as the virus would consume it from within. I'm sure later on down the time line it got so that the host didn't die and they in fact depended on each other for survival.

"even though thats how we start off in the womb, those single celled cretures just grew into a blob rather then growing into an organ let alone body"

Same thing. Just different destination(in the metaphorical sense of the word).

"psycologically, it is normally the person who is right that will loose the arguement, because they realise they are wasting there time so walk off,"

I don't think so. If you've got some evidence for this allegedly psychologically "normal" behavior I'd like to see it.

" once you get used to this you soon realise they have actually walked off cos they've just realised how much of an ass of themselves they've made"

I think you're just sore becuase you lost.

@Mr X

"besides, why arn't we all diseased slime?"

Because diseased slime was not at one point an evolutionarly vaiable route to go.

I'd also like to point out at this, stage of the game, this from here:
http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/faq-intro-to-biology.html
Quote: "Evolution is not progress. Populations simply adapt to their current surroundings. They do not necessarily become better in any absolute sense over time. A trait or strategy that is successful at one time may be unsuccessful at another. "

Although diseased slime may be able to beat us now at somethings it probably wasn't always the case. Take this for example:
Quote: "Paquin and Adams demonstrated this experimentally. They founded a yeast culture and maintained it for many generations. Occasionally, a mutation would arise that allowed its bearer to reproduce better than its contemporaries. These mutant strains would crowd out the formerly dominant strains. Samples of the most successful strains from the culture were taken at a variety of times. In later competition experiments, each strain would outcompete the immediately previously dominant type in a culture. However, some earlier isolates could outcompete strains that arose late in the experiment. Competitive ability of a strain was always better than its previous type, but competitiveness in a general sense was not increasing. Any organism's success depends on the behavior of its contemporaries. For most traits or behaviors there is likely no optimal design or strategy, only contingent ones. Evolution can be like a game of paper/scissors/rock."

To give you guys an update, I E-Mailed the guy who owned that site, and he replied to me. I have my own opinions on what he said, but I'll let you formulate your own.

To be frank though, it sounds like he's well educated on the subject:

Quote: "Steve.

The word used in Genesis 1, "yom" means a day (24 hour
period). The verse
"a day is with the Lord as a thousand years and a thousand years
as a day"
used by many evolutionists, does not alter the meaning of the word
DAY in
Gen. 1 and does not apply to it. Every Israelite who read those
verses
(pre-Darwin et al.) knew that God created the world in 6 days.

You also may not be aware of the construction of the Hebrew in Gen 1.
It
literally reads: "Light be, light was." The English
translation does not
convey the power and suddenness of those verses. (The same
construction
holds for the other days of Creation.)

Moses CLEARLY states in Exodus 20, "For in six days the Lord
made the
heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them..."

Jesus, who was crucified and rose from the dead (as He predicted) says
that "God CREATED them male and female" which--even
ignoring ALL the other
clear Biblical statements--puts the stamp of authenticity on creation.

Nothing was created "out of thin air". There was no air.
Not only did
God create the world/universe, He created light (different from
sunlight),
space, time, heaven (non-matter), and matter.

I suggest you find a Hebrew interlinear Old Testament and re-read
Gen. 1.
There's NO WAY you will come away believing it leaves ANY room for
evolution.

Evolutionists MUST cling to their fairy tales so they have no One to
whom
to answer.

Submission to God and His sacrificial Son, Jesus Christ, destroys
man's
pride ... and we proud sinners "CAN'T" have THAT!

I hope you'll take an open-minded look at the issue.

Bruce"
