So, when a function returns an error, it usually returns Null. But when mathematicians describe an error, since it's to erroneous to comprehend, they say infinity?

Oh, and how do we know that sqrt(-1) <> infinity?

One of the biggest named numbers is a Googol-plex.

A Googol is 1 with 100 zeros after it.
A Googol-plex is 1 with a googol zeros after it.

It's pretty hard to get your head around, one mathmatician said:

Imagine a gigantic steel ball the size of the earth in space.
Now imagine every million years a fly lands on it.
The amount of milliseconds it takes for that ball to be entirely rubbed away by the friction from the fly's feet landing on it, is roughly a googol-plex.

"NULL" is a pointer to void. Void is essentially nothing in computer terms. Null is not '0'

Null is rather loosly associated with the core of mathmatics and is usally a computer thing.

Quote: "sqrt(-1) <> infinity"


sqrt(-1) = i
