Its not easy - full stop.
MFC is not particularly nice or well designed - there are some things that are easier to do using the WinAPI

The place for great plug-ins and things.

It's the WinAPI all the way for me, I wouldn't touch MFC with a hundred foot pole.

And then there's Assembly, that's like a second nature to Lee.

Yeah, I've heard he created DBpro using jumpers to manually shortcircuit CPU and IC pins (in real time of course).

I know I said I was leaving these forums forever, but I just saw Lee Bamber's name on the people who are browsing the forums right now. I always wanted to ask him what language he wrote darkbasic in. I also wanted to know if he contributed to the development of DB pro.

I'm having a problem in DB pro. When I make a sprite as the mouse for my game, it's under the rest of the sprites. How do I fix this?

Hell yes he is

Getting back onto the subject of Lee and DB I heard he brought a packet of frosties and when he had finished he made a pretened computer out of the box and somehow it magically became real! Then Lee thought 'damn I wish I had a real easy tool to make game using Direct X' and out popped DB from his ear!

now that is the true birth story of DB.

Jonny

P.S Guhill - That story is actually not true, it is impossible to create a PC and Programming language from a frosties box. Do not try it you may harm yourself.
