The user User Name successfully established a connection to The Internet (2) using the device IRDA16-1.

Anyone know what this is? I get a message saying this EVERY time i log on to my computer. Also if it helps to figure it out, ive been getting hacked for the last month and like 5 pros have tried to help but all have failed. Could this be him? Also, could it be hes hacking wireless (i think i have a wireless internet thing built into my computer) 'cause i get a lot of wireless static and interception near my computer. Thanks! Just wondering if anyone knew that this is.

do you have a non-XP firewall, Norton for example, connect to the internet via dial up or turn off wireless and run lots of spyware detectors, spybot s+D for example

IRDA - that's an infrared interface ... you connect to the net using infrared?

You *think* you have wireless?

5 pros? Obviously they were not pros if 5 of them couldn't sort it out after a month.

If you didn't get this solved before by posting several times to these forums under several different names, what makes you thing this time is going to be any different?

Rebuild your machine from scratch, install an AV package and a firewall, and get off AOL. Then don't click on or install anything that you are not 100% sure of.

I just reformated. I have 2 or 3 firewalls, a virus and spyware detector. BTW, this (i dont think) is the same hacker from last time. Could be. Im asking a totaly different question.

lol. Already tried asking someone who knows about hacking. Im almost sure he doesnt hack, but he knows a lot about it (like how hackers hack and such). Hes one of my friends and hes REAALLLY good with computers.

Thanks, already checked for open ports. Found someone (an AOL user) accessing the port thats used for file sharing??? Uh oh...

Thanks. Already tried that. Last hacker i had got pased everything, i was shocked. Seems like this new hacker is hacking infared?!?! OMG... A wireless hacker??? Is that possable? I do get a lot of wireless interferences (my cell wont work near my CPU, my cable TV is staticy some times). Maybe its the guy down stairs. Maybe he is using infared just like me and caught my signal and said "Hey... I can hack this guy!!!". No one i know has a grudge agenst me, so its not my enemy... lol

I am using a WIN XP home. I am using a Viao cpu with i think (from what it looks like) a infared wireless internet addapter? Maybe thats how hes hacking.

Theres a little red light in one of the two internet ports that looks exacly like an infared thing.

No... No one would hate me enough to do everything he did to me so far? None of my friends know how to hack like this. Now im starting to think its the same hacker. If it is, he hacked my computer, DDOS me, harrased me and sexualy harrased my friend, used a trojan and password stealer, maybe even tried to frame me for something.

Ha, i get a call from someone saying they hacked my AOL account b4 and they are sorry. I ask how and they say their bro did if 4 them. Id give 1 guess his brother is the hacker. x_x

But the guy was 8 years old. I am much older then him and i dont even know how to wireless hack (not that i would want to)... lol. Maybe his brother is older.

Thanks everyone. But if i change my IP, he can still get in. Hes hacking my infared (which probably uses some kinda IP-like thing, but i dont know). I dont mean to brag or anything, but this computer costed a lot of money because it came with a lot of software and hardware and stuff i think. So to stop him i might have to get a different computer. Either that or a take a hammer, aim at the infated port, ah, u get the pic . I cant really report it cause im almost sure these kinda hackers are just about impossable to catch and i have no proof. Really i think the only way to catch him is if he messes up (which i doubt). For the sexual harrasment thing, yes. He sexualy harrased my friends. Ugh, you don't even wana HEAR the things he said to them. Did i say he also saw my friend's e-mail on my buddylist and hacked him?

As far as getting linux, i can not do that.

Wait a sec! HA, it all makes scence! I have cable, but my internet is soooooo slow cause hes basiclly hijacking my internet to get in i think. Hmmmmm... If i disabled my infared, he wouldn't be able to get in. But i have looked a lot in settings and found NOTHING about infared. Im pretty sure its an auto built in feature.

Here's what you do:

1. Get into a DOS prompt, ok, ow try to trace where the error is coming from at start up. Once you figure out the guys IP, just get in dos again, and upload a virus right up his ass. I've done that many times, it works.

2. Pull out your modem thing dude, if he's getting you through your infared modem thing, just rip it out and get a new one, a 56K modem is like $20.

3. If he harrassed you, geta shotgun, and if he tries it again, blow him through the wall.

I suggest #1, but if that dont work do #2, and if that still dont work, use #3, you should be doing that anyway.

P.S-if you have Nortan, anyone or anything that accesses you computer will be listed in the access menu, see anything irregular, you know that's got to be your guy.

Thanks. Already tried that though. From the looks of it (looks of the list of connected IPs)(even a professional said this) hes (though AIM,AOL,ICQ,MSGS (probably MSGS), or something) getting alerted of when my computer turns on (Ex. a bot sending him a massage)

Oh, if you want to track him, simply create a bot (which is prob what he is doing), and everytime his bot alerts him, your bot goes back and tells him you've signed off. I have heard of people doing this, but you have to be skilled in the batch language.
If you are good enough, you can create a non-lethal bug, known as a worm. See, hackers know what you are doing, but they often dont watch their own systems, trust me. So once you have created your worm, you can just deploy it to one of his drives. Now this is not illegal, that is how Nortan finds the IP's of every hacker. If he is givng you the trojan game, send your worm through the backdoor. Once your in, if you did it right, it should crash his machine, erasing any data that translates through the worms binary (fancy talk for everything that has you IP, or info) then your a clean slate. Once you do that, you should seal up all of your firewalls, dont let anything leak out.

Thanks. I'll try something like that :/ I think im gona do something with tracking his IP/ disabling his worm/trojan. Im not gona hack him, but im gona stop him all from my mechine (if i can). Cause if i hack him (which i wouldn't do), he could tell the cops i destoryed his mechine. Sorry, i dont hack : /

If you try to block him, he will find another way. It's not hard, there are tons of ways to get into someones comp using the net. If he did try telling the cops, (which would make no difference, the authorities only care if you are hurt, or if a rich white guy is getting hacked) your computer is loaded with logs of him snooping around, and you cant destroy his machine using a worm, it either works, or does'nt. Oh yeah, you should check your cookies all the time, when someone is hacking your computer, there finger print is alwats somewhere.

so you say you have a wireless connection to the internet? Yes hacking a computer throught a wireless connection is possaible, its called wardriving. its probably someone close to you thats doing it. because if you have a wireless connection then something is getting the signa from your comp and sending stuff to it. if this is unencrypted the "hacker" can gain acess to your network and do things to your computer. make sure that you have encryption on your wireless line.

also i suggest you at least try to learn about what you are talking about, u said ddos which is a distributed denial of service. That means that he is using lots of other computers to send packets to your computer as fast as they can not allowing you to do anything on the net.

since your computer has already been comprimised you need to format not connect to the internet and put up and configure a firewall. and test that firewall with the leak test at http://www.grc.com/lt/leaktest.htm

Thanks. Thank you so much, but i already tried all that Tried the GRC port thing, tried disconnecting and reformating, tried everything. This guy is like invincable. LOL, sry about the DDOS thing. I had no idea what i was talking about. But now i figured out it was. I read about them and it said packet overflowing and thats what happened. This started happening when i moved, so its probably someone in the building! I take that as a threat. He saw what i was writing about him. He could come and hurt me X_X . Eh... Um... I have no idea what to do now O_O I mean i... Im just stuck here with nothing to do about it.

I call it a VIS (vertual infared server). Thats probably what hes doing. I see no other way. This could just be AOL doing weird stuff to me, but i doubt it. Why would in... EEK! Ok, hes messin with my keyboard i think (its also wireless/infared). Its typing automaticly! Baiscly it just typed all these spaces.

Weird... I have a little red light in the back that is called Optical Out and it looks exacly like infared. If it isn't, the infared is probably built in. Now the thing i dont get is how it can go that far. COuld he have something that powers his signal? Or maybe he lives next door or under me.

If he isn't using infared then hes just setting up a normal private server to hack me. Nothing so advanced. But its hard to stop, right? I mean its a running connection, so i can't stop it cause it says "Unable to disconnect connection. Connection is already running" when i try to disconnect his little hacking server.

So he probably is either living near me or is using a signal powerer.


One of my friends is litterly a pro with computers. He says that the hacker is just making a sever. But when he reads the log of the server, it says its a infared interface server and he doesn't get how he could be hacking thogh infared cause i dont have any infared services. Guess he was wrong about me not having those services.

Yes, it makes scence! The source of some of the attacks are my own IP, so he must be hijacking my server in some way.

So when you formatted did you have your internet connection enabled? You need to install firewalls and virus scanners before you connect to the net or your wireless/infered. Your best bet would be a firewall, if this guy isint a skiddie then he will be making his own tools that ur antivirus wont catch.

how do you connect to the internet? Through dialup or do u have a wireless connection?
