Yeah, Linux is much less hacker-friendly, but the compatibiity problems are harsh. I've heard that DB does not work in Linux, even in Windows emulation I think I read that on TGC, but maybe not.

Fraggles where quite the scary lot...

Ok. As i speak. Ugh... Hows that saying go? All hell has broken loose. Um, yah. lol, my s/n is HellDragon.. hehe. He has about 4 of his own little hackers servers running ovea here and nothing i can do to disable them. Also, my internet is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo slow that i can hardly load a website, so i think hes trying to overflow my server with a DOS attack (trying but failing).

Now all i can do is cross my fingers and hope he doesnt try anything crzy like steal money from my banking account or frame me for a internet crime.

This is getting to be such a big threat, i dont even wana use my computer anymore.

Man, i hate this guy. What am i gona do?

Thanks. I cant though. I try to disable it and it doesn't allow it... Dang, this guy is good. Hes basiclly making a connectiong to hack directly and i cant get rid of the connection.

Ok, this is a trojan letting him do this or a simple windows exploit. No doubt. But its his own creation probably, so its undetectable. He also was logging on to my computer under another user account and messin with it from there. He made it so i couldn't see who was on under CTRL-ALT-DELETE/Users. The list was blank. But i have log files saying someone logged on, so im to smart for him Ha, when he logged in... Wow, did he leave edvidence of him logging in. For one thing, my whole computer changed to Win 2000 format (i have win XP)! The icons showed the extensions O_O unlike WinXP. I had log files of him logging in. He tried to use already made trojans, but failed so now i guess hes making his own or hexediting them so they have a different name or something (so my AV won't pick them up).

So the only way to stop this is to 1. change me IP. 2. Find the trojan, try hex editing, string edit, and any other source viewing things to get the source code. Then once i have the source code of the trojan, i just mail it to the cops... Because some where in there is the IP its letting in (of couse), and the cops can handle figuring it out and stopping him.

Erm, see the leads that go out the back of you computer and into the wall. Pulling one of the leads out will disable the connection.

Then format your computer. Install firewall and anti virus software. Go and buy a network hub with builtin firewall and connect through the internet through that.

Thanks. I'll try that. Hey, i was just wondering... Whats the file "BlackBox.dll"? Hmmm... Wait a sec. Oyah, the pro did that for me. I remember. He looked for weird outgoing connections and found none After that i refomated and installed AV and a firewall. Seems to be targeting my IP with his program. So if i reformat, he just targets my IP and installs his trojan again i think.

Don't know.
I think he joined you to a network.
Figure out how to unplug your internet connection yet?
If he hacks you, unplug it or unplug your pc.
And while your finding the trojan, unplug your internet connecton.

LOL... thats your home networks default workgroup name.... workgroup.

Your computer does that routine when it boots up.

Quote: "TCP VALUED-ECECF7**:4708 205.188.7.2**:5190 ESTABLISHED

"

205.188.7.2 is just you connected via ports 4708 out and 5190 in (i think.... been a while since i dealt with AOL crap). As long as you are using AOL Broadband that is.
Look at this "trace" and watch in amazement:

I removed the first 3 cause that was my information, and i'm not as dumb as some people to post everything about they're PC.
ATDN.net is a AOL(Time warner) server that is used for connections to the AOL Broadband network.
So this big "H4x0r" is just AOL's normal routines and Nothing else.
Now stop bugging us.
Oh and the best fix would be to GET RID OF FUCKING AOL!!

Edit: oh by the way.... the work groups in XP home are called "MSHOME" so yeah.... thats a nother fun thing you gotta learn.

Take a basic computer class please.

EDIT: and as read in many other topics about people using your AOL IM name..... make longer passwords, and don't tell your friends/ family them... very common mistake

You should seriously call the cops. That long list is a hackers worst fear, he left his finger prints all over your computer. That my friend, is a log script. It looks like he is using your computers "workgroup" name. Copy an paste that in notepad or something, and print it out. But honestly, I dont know what the cops can do for you, he is prob from some other state, or even a different country. All of those random numbers, in the log script, could be used to trace him. Remember print out that log script, and give it to some kind of hacker authority, so you can permanetly put a stop to him.

Yah, but my computers name isn't 'VALUED-L5KRF6YV'. The log says its NBIOS joining that cpu, so how can that be me?

I also just found this:

[DelPCIHacks]
HKLM,System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Pnp\PCI,PciHackFlags

I dont think this is anything, but y is it in my log file? : /

Actually that wouldn't be enough eveidence to make a warrant... you need more proof then that lil bit.... speaking as if it we're actual logs of a hacker entering

Quote: "'VALUED-L5KRF6YV'"

[Cough] Your cheap computers serial number [/cough]

I'm guessing HP or Dell.

Quote: "HKLM,System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Pnp\PCI,PciHackFlags

Ok decipher the acronyms PNP and PCI and you have your answer there.

Quote: "The log says its NBIOS joining that cpu, so how can that be me?
"

I suggest you take a look in a book (oh no.... i can see it now, I don't need no book, book is stupid) and index the word Netbios and learn what they are.

Quote: "The AIM hacking, the DOS attack, the DDOS attack, the cpu hacking"

Nobody would waste the time doing most of that on some little kids home computer.

Quote: "the cpu hacking"

HAHAHAHAHAHHA.... please

A CPU is the Central processing unit. Also known as the processer. Not the computer buddy.

The acronym you are looking for is "PC". That stands for Personal Computer.

I haven't read a thread this funny in a very long time. I mean, hacking through an infra-red port! Hell Dragonz43, I can't tell how dumb that sounds. Might I ask what is your first language? You don't seem to be able to form coherent sentences about your problem, making it impossible to help you. When I worked in an IT department for an office complex, I came across many users who babbled on as you seem to be doing. Most of their problems of this nature boiled down to a person not understanding what a computer does, and getting paranoid due to things they hear on the news and online.

I know already that you'll respond to this in a defensive manner. You'll say that you know you are being hacked, you have witnessed unexplained things happen to your computer. All I can really say is, if you want help, learn to communicate your problem.

LOL, well dont balame me! THats what it said... Stupid PC (i know what a computer is, im no idiot) glitches. It said it. Im not kidding. I can even post a screen shot if u want. Im not lying. As for the NETBIOS thing, it also said someone was conneted. Look, dont blame me. Im not the smartest in computers, but thats what it said. dont worry, im not mad. Ok, maybe i explained it in a confusing way and you misunderstood. I just assumed this because thats what it said. I mean if a message comes up saying someones connecting to your infared port, its probably true. But i guess its just a glitch or somethin, cause no one was connecting : /

English is my first language... Look, all im saying is this is what it said. Im not crazy. It said it. Maybe i just typed to quickly and it didn't come out the right way. I'll explain what happened again,ok? Heres EXACLY what happened...

I was on AIM chatting with my friends when a message from the AOL bot (u know, the one who tells u if ur logged on twice) comes up saying im logged on in 2 locations. My friends start IMing me saying "Ewwwwww! What the heck are you saying?!" when i litterly said nothing digusting. Thats when i knew there was a hacker. I tried for weeks to stop him and report him, but failed every time. I tried changing my pass like 2 times, but EVERY single time he got in. Then he started hacking my friends account. So, we were both hacked. Finally, late one night the hackers on and i speak to him. I say "Ok... enough is enough. Please stop hacking me" (last time cursing at him did nothing,hehe... Just made him mad). He says "Ok... Dont worry, im no real hacker" and stops hacking. I then go though my computer and find AIM Password stealing trojans. So i think to my self, "ok... that is how he got in". I delete them and all is well... But then all of a sudden, my internet doesnt work. I never heard of a DOS attack then, but i soon learned about it and thought "hey, maybe this is whats happening to me". So i look at my connections and i see packet flooding. After a while, the DOS attack stops. But then my friend tells me he couldn't connect also, so hes sitting there with a computer that cant connect to the internet for a while. Finally, he just reformats and it works perfect. The hacker leaves him alown. As for me, the next month is HELL. lol, ok... Not really. But i had to sit though all these weird things happening. It was a while ago when they happened, so i'll try to remember. Ok, lets see... One night when i was programming my bot, this text appears saying "+ I know you". I may have typed this, but i didn't remember typing this at all. Could have been by actident i copyed and pasted, but what ever. Then i check my windows log just because i think the hackers still there for some stupid reason. I see lists of people logging in on other accounts and changing settings. Very weird. Then my AV gets crupt and my DarkBasic gets crupt. So now when weird things happened like this, i think it must be the hacker because the things are similar to what happened. Hey, you cant blame me. I know some things just happen from viruses and stuff, but its just it seems like its him. His style of hacking... The way he does stuff. I mean its not every day your logs show someone logging in (and i dont mean the NT or the MSGina thing), i mean real user names like ComputerHelper and stuff like that. As for the NETBIOS thing, thats not my computer's name. I own a Viao, so it comes automaitclly with a random name like that. I checked my name and it was very different then that. Maybe it got changed, who knows? But look, i mean... You can't blame me. If you all saw exacly what happened, you would think i was hacked. trust me. Maybe im just not explaining it very clearly. I think i am
though.

P.S. sorry, i mean PC, not PCU. Dude, i know what a computer is. Why does no one believe me when i say im getting hacked? I said i think im getting hacked because heres whats happenening... THen i listed what was happeneing. I mean it sounds like im getting hacked (to me). But please correct me if i am wrong. I am no little kid, BTW. I just type fast and that usually messes me up when i type.

I guess no one can help me with my problem again. Owell, thanks anyway. I just figured id give it a try. I mean you are all good with PCs, so i figured, "hey. someones gota be good in security".

THats it... You know what? I dont think the hackers screwin up my computer and making my programs act weird. I think VIao sold me a defective or bad computer! Grrr... I mean i install a program and about 3 days later its crupts. Im not kidding! Thats the last time i buy from stupud Viao. As for the Ahacking thing, yah i was hacked. But that was once. The reason i thought it continued was cause my PC is acting VERY weird (random things happeneing.. woa, a install thing just poped up... WTH?!). Probably i have a defetive computer... I hate Viao. THanks everyone for helping me. Im gettin a new computer.

BTW, 130 posts in one week, lol... thtas gota be a new record

So basicly the hackers gone. He hacked for about a week for fun then got tired of it. Now whats happeneing is my compueter is acting weird because of Viao.

if you have an existing infrared port that you don't use (it will look like an oval black bit of shiny plastic) then stick some coloured tape over it, or selotape metal foil over it, infra red is stricktly line of sight as it is light, he can only access the port if he has view of the port, he can't access it from another room etc.

if your router has got a wireless port wrap it in metal foil lol, that'll cut most of the signal although if he has a really high gain dish it yagi then he could still access it, so try to find a way to disable it.
really you should dump aol though

Erm, I've not read the rest of this thread, but you should have an option to turn off the infared port in the control panel. For total control turn it off in the BIOS. Most are turned off on laptops until you turn them on in the BIOS anyways. Mainly because they take up power and processing.

Cheers

I am 99% probably lying in bed right now... so don't blame me for crappy typing

Ah. Just read some more. Highly likely they were just using the port used by the infared device to access your PC. Bit like if you had an FTP daemon running on your PC, you can access it through it's port.

Cheers

Thanks. You really helped. lol, the whole time i really believed he was connecting though my infared! LOL. Anyway, thank you so much! Now i know what to do if he comes back and hacks the same way. As for now, i just figured out that when my internet doesnt connect when i turn my PC on, it auto looks for a new IP. weird, this never happened b4. Maybe i got rid of his thing that was blocking my IP Config services. Now when I am offline it automaitcly looks for a new IP Yay! I pitty the next person to get my IP though. Their all targeting it with AIM trojans and stuff. W...Wait a sec. OYAH! I remember i saw a program on my PC that was weird. I typed it in on 2 search engines and nothing really came up, so i deleted it. Then my IPCofig worked perfect. Could that have been its trojan or virus? Right after i deleted it, my IP congif services tried to give me a new IP when i signed off line. Before i deleted his possable trojan or virus, my IP config wouldnt change my IP. it was the most ANOYING thing ever.

The possable trojan was called VrlTskMgr or something like that. It wasn't the windows task manager. I dont think it was even a windows file. Naw, couldnt have been. My sys. works better without it!

VsTskMgr isnt the virus. NVM that. Not sure if there was a virus. All i know is there was a program stopping my IP config services from running. It was probably one of the unknown things. VsTskMgr is part of my virus scan. But there was like 4 other weird files that google or other search engines i tried could find any info about.
