Thanks guys

I just realised how massive the file was.

I have reduced the bits per pixel to 4, massive loss of quality but also massive loss of file size

can you use "ripped" graphics from the forum banners?

Part of solving the problem is actually noticing that the problem is there in the first place

Couldn't help myself, just had to give it a try.

Only static though, might try an animated version later:

Some nice buttons in here, probably only a handful I can actually use though (unlike the forum banner, comedy ones are out!). I will pick a winner around the middle of the week (Wednesday-ish).

Cheers,

Rich

Animatrix - If you want to be in with a chance, i'd recommend writing "The Game Creators" or "TheGameCreators" not "The GameCreater".

Freewebs doesn't allow hotlinking. Post a link to the image instead of an image tag.

You want clicks or not??

Man, if you don't use BEAN I will. It will get more curiosity clicks than all the clicks from all the other ads combined. And that's a FACT.

Oh well I guess it will be the same old lame-o boring cliche ads that everyone passes up because its on a game dev site and nobody pays attention anymore

Heck, they probably wouldn't notice my total lack of puncuation in that last paragraph.

Times are changing... and the pant zippers with them.

Hey, Pricey, since I haven't gotten it yet, you can have my banner compo prize.

Pretty sure DBPro was one of the options.

Ok, enough buttons

I will pick a winner from those posted up here to date.

Not sure when I'll announce it, maybe later today, maybe tomorrow. But I'll lock the thread now just to stop other posts coming in - the compo is over, thanks for the great submissions.

Cheers,

Rich
