This great 3D sequel created in DB follows up the Slayer: Battle Tanks series with a bang. Featuring all new creative levels, intelligent AI and more tanks. It was recently calculated that you could play a different game of Slayer: Battle Tanks II every day for more than 154 years!

This game is a really good one. It has full 3D environments and fun game play. Choose from 21 vehicles, 8 pre-installed songs (but you can listen to your own), choose from 4 3D levels, 4 challenging scenarios, and play how you like!

You can go to places like Abandoned Island, Fort McDonald, Castle, and City Streets. Play scenarios like Capture the Flag, King of the Hill, 1 player challenges, Shootout, and new this time around; Goaltender.

This game is near 13 MB to download and can be downloaded from the official site here: http://www.slayerbattletanks2.tk.

Here are some screenshots:

More shots found here: http://slayer-battletanks2.tripod.com/screen_shots.htm.

Post your reviews, input, and whatever you like on my message boards. Or, use my private "Contact Me" form here: http://slayer-battletanks2.tripod.com/contact.htm

All right, have fun.

Thanks. It's in the Program Announcements as well, I just though this would get more attention in both - considering the game was made with DB

@vgames mater:
I think I see what you mean, like the punctuation and the non-excitement. So, I fixed it and boosted yours to the top...Yipee! I knew you were excited!

I like the airplane voices. GREAT! Some of the text on the menu was sort of hard to read, I read it though, but I though it was sort of hard. Otherwise I like it. Oops I mean "I like it alot!"

lol

Yeah, all of the voices were me. I really don't sound that "manly and deep voiced," but, I have a really cool (and expensive, for me anyway) transposer on my computer ($50!)). I tried hard on my menus. My menus in the first game stunk like a duck!

@devastation:
If you live in different countries that don't allow .tk, that might be the problem.

All right, thanks for the feedback, I guess you can expect it on my site soon

I live in the USA but comp is a nazi at heart. That may be the problem.

or maybe ISPs are trying to get rid of free domains.

Yeah, I guess it could be your ISP. My site is a free domain and if you downloaded the game that means you accessed one, but, I think your ISP doesn't allow shortcuts to already-existing sites

p.s. The comments are on-line! (I knew you'd be excitied!)

Thanks, Unlce Sam! I really appreciate it!

I did put a lot of work into it. The menus were very tricky and the music programming took a little while to get just right. I think it's cool that you can listen to any song you have on your computer with my game.....I think listening to Imperial March by John Williams is pretty cool. (Of course I couldn't put that song in my game).

What was your guys' favorite part?

I know...lol My save game isn't so hard to manipulate. I'm working on a code of my code that only my program can decipher. Yeah, the coins are really hard to get if you don't change the save game. I like the second level: Fort McDonald.

Yeah, C:/program files/Slayer-BattleTanks2_save/NAME.rrl
You found it!

Bug Report:

Oh, for some odd reason when I hit on more on the menu, then hit back (which isn't working completely correct), your game locks up and makes half of my icons dissappear on my desktop (of course, nothing a good restart won't do). But yah, just thought you would like to know that. I'm not sure why it does it. New discovery, I found that it doesn't change my display back. So thats no bit deal. But the things is I found an error. Now you just need to fix it, and everything will be good again!

edit : another discovery! I found that EVERY Back button on your menu does this. If you have the F7 button do it, everythings fine. When I have to hit a back button is where the error comes up.

Well, I think I know where to start. I'll add that in on my updated version coming soon. Thanks for the bug report.

Yet, has anyone finished the entire game yet? And with all of the music?

How'd you know my name? lol

All right, the updated version is ALMOST finished. I still have to go somebody's house to re-upload it, but I'm working on a computer board game with a friend and I'll do it then.

Until then, has anyone beaten it yet? (Without those hacks?)

@vgames master
Yeah, the taxi's pretty cool. You're right it's just from the DBC library....I think DarkMatter. I like the "Anti-Aircraft Artillry) because the tanks looks like one of the tanks from SOCOM II: U.S. Navy Seals.

What's your favorite song? Arena?

Yah, I just found out today, and the worst they did was take away my internet. Oh no. THey said they could of suspended me AND charge me of computer hacking. Even though I didn't "Hack".

@MP
Yah, I still have to play more. On the one level, I can't remember the name, but it has walls surrounding the area. (not the islands). When I responded, I went into a wall and couldn't move. I had to quit the level and restart. Although, my favorite level so far is the Castle One.

@vgames
I take it was at Fort McDonald? If it was, that's a previous bug report that should be fixed for the version.

What were you doing on the computer to make them get mad?
I got in trouble the other day because I had to record some voices on a tape recorder at school, but I decided to use a microphone and CD player instead. So when I got it all setup I installed a piece of software I made with DB to record (because the computers don't allow sound recorder that often at my school). Yeah, my teacher got kinda' mad

Although, he thought it was cool that I thought out-of-the-box and used a different type of medium than the standard "tape recorder" that everybody else used.

Oh, and they hate it when I'm on these forums because "you can't chat, play games, or anything else other than school related work"......in my school when you sign in on the computers, you have to click "I Agree" everytime to that....it's so annoying! Then you can just go to this and other places and just delete the cookies and files........it's pointless....

I'm on these forums like 2 hours every other day cas my programming class is useless. 6 weeks in there and she hasn't even taught for-next. Uch. My teacher is cool tho and lets me on these forums even though "its unsafe" (not even kidding) and I work on my paintball game alot as a text file and debug it when I get home.

That's cool. What kind of languages are you learning? Just BASIC, or others?

My school doesn't have a computer class for programming, just a thing for telephones/modems, typing class, and....that's about it . That's what you get for living in a relatively small Northwestern U.S. town. *sigh*

But, seriously, anybody finished it yet? It takes nearly and hour or so.

just visual basic in class, but if we complete both teh school dist.s programming classes we can do "independent studies" for a semester, and just learn what we feel like. When I do it, I'm gonna probly work on torque shader engine, but I may stick w/ db.

And no, I havent finished it. It still is kinda choppy on my comp for some reason , when I rotate the tank.

All I did was open my cD rom. oh, and downloaded a program. I guess on the rule lists, it says you can't donwnload anything without teacher's permission, and have access to anything such as program files. I broke that whole rule i Guess. So, they took away my internet privilige (? spellling). Yah, I think it was fort mc donalds. Now, I just play around in visual basic (on word) until class is over since I can't do anything in there anyway. Besides, we're doing PowerPoint in my computer class right now. *sighs*..

Yeah, that applies to me too. But, I downloaded a thing called "switcher" which encodes .wav and files like that to .mp3's. Yay. I did really get caught, because the computers are wiped clean every night, but, I should really be careful because my teacher is watching me like a hawk - ever since I opened up one of my DB programs...

^^Teachers can be so annoying sometimes - they never trust anyone, especially when you know more than they do

Yeah, Fort McDonald is kinda' sketchy.

Anyother bug reports - or anyone finishing it yet?
