its good but i can i help in regards to style etc. maybe.
think about a series of colours that defines your mags style.

check out some other gaming mags and study the coloursets
notice how a style is applied to each page in a similar way.
http://www.stocklayouts.com/products/viewby.aspx?product=AA&keywords=&templateType=C&setTo=0
imagine each page having a background and foreground.
highlight your content by reducing the colours and patterns / brightness and complexity in your backgrounds.
darker flatter backgrounds with very light or hard to see patterns
would help define each page more clearly
This also applies to fonts, Choose 3 fonts that are similar
or work together that defines your magazines style.
Use them for Titles content and alt text etc..
http://www.1001freefonts.com/
Define a look for each image.
eg creating a transparent photoshop document for each size used on the website for images and applying a round mask so all images have a smoothed round edge when exported to your favorite PDF creation package and distilled later.
dont forget to set each images title and or description to a style.
Textual Content
Not only do you have to formulate the information for all to read, but think of a style of writing and stick with it.
eg: LEET speak is a classic bad example akin to lense flare in photoshop for poor use of effects.
however if you do choose a style to write in, it can help promote the products you are spotlighting.
Note: Critical reviews, or blunt reviews can cause backlash in two forms. users telling you were to get firetrucked and developers avoiding you in giving a review.
A gamer to gamer approach in textual content would be the way to express this, game acronyms used within the standard speak found when talking about most games.
Graphical Icons
create a series of icons that help you rate and style your magazine.
your game evaluation system could be as simple as a 5 star rating,
or complex enough to factor in a multiplayer rating and a modability rating as examples to show at a glance your review statistics.
Create a ArtResources folder on your hard drive and try to find the eps or vector versions of the companies your reviewing. this will make the pdf version a lot more lightweight in size

or make it easier to make a smaller webgraphic.
i hope this helps a bit
good work keep it up mate
