I think you'll find the "clothing" incident was nothing to do with anyone in the govornment ... it was that bloody royal family. I'm sure Prince whatever could've put up a better fight in declining the offer of a ride. That said, I heard that tourism directly relating to the Royal Family more than pays for the costs they incur, so I'm not quite as anti-monarchic than I used to be.

Ok, I did over simply the tax laws, but I was preaching to a foriegner to our taxation laws. I didn't want to go into too much detail. I conveniently missed out NI because I couldn't be arsed, even though we all know that's still painful. As a contractor, I had to pay both mine and my employers NI .... feels like another cheeky stealth tax.

As for our MPs, I think they're both underpaid and overpaid. They're clearly underpaid on paper. Look at their job description and responsibilities, then compare their pay to other important professions such as doctors, and I believe they get paid less. Considering they're running our country, you'd think they'd deserve more cash for their responsibility. Then when you look at what 3 quarters of them actually achieve, you feel like they should be on minimum wage and given a public flogging once a month.

and dont believe everything you hear.you think the queen can pay for all the body gaurds and security and all the different buildings and priceless works of art, the holidays and posh cars just on tourism????????? i personnally dont think so.though i like the royal family and what they stand for i dont think they make thier own revenue.

yeah but there are public services in britain, in the us finding public service is like finding the teenage father of your teenage daughter's baby, you can do it but you better beleive theyll try everything they can to get out of the responsibility.
