i went into DLL talk and found a thread, then i changed the forum from 18 to 10( you can see at the back of the link) and viola, you cant find it in either DLL talk OR db discussion...

I seen you got a few threads locked dbnewbie and would like to add what I ddin't get to post do to the lock - I do recall a thread where a bunch of people were discussing about newbies making compilers and such . (dont remember where it was ) it covered the various aspects of trial ,error,hairpulling ,getting flamed, and the almost certain doom for any noobie project. I cant remember where it was posted , but I'll give you a nice recap :
on one side it spells certain doom for the project,
while on the other side it spells certain education and learning and the slim possibility that the project might succeed. I therefore encourage you to continue in your efforts to make something regardless of what language you choose to make it in.
Also, I seen a post to an old arcaic version of pascal on borland. you can actually download a good free version of pascal at [href]www.freepascal.org[/href]
