Welcome to the FPSC community!"

Thanks for the greeting, have now purchased (and only £2.94 thanks to a good exchange rate). Downloaded in 4min which is faster than my updates from MS.

Played the Training & First Level. I am now dizzy (an uninverted mouse is not my friend) but nonetheless enjoyed it.

I liked the sense of 'Comfort Zones', e.g. thinking you've got the game sussed and meeting a new enemy without the usual foreshadowing of health/ammo packs like in most modern shooters, it's nice to be surprised now and then.

Cheers!!!

I'm not rich yet, if that's what you're after.
I don't really want to say exactly how much, but I will say this...
... the sales from the game total more than the cost FPSC, so it's all good.

@ Opus Games
Thanks again, I'm glad you liked it.

A couple screen shots and a trailer are on the first page of this thread.
Those combined with the DEMO should give you a good idea of the game.

Thanks Spiman,
It's tempting to use the bazooka there, but in the full version you had better save those rounds for the next level.

Okay, I am bumping this for a good reason.

"The Hunt For Osama" will soon be over.

In other words, if you want a copy of the full version the you had better get it now.
I will be removing the game from circulation in the next couple of weeks.

I'll explain why then, if you haven't already figured it out.

LOL
I wish he was. I'd love to meet him. Really I would.

No, I just wish I had picked a better subject matter for my first game.
It would have been better if it were something not so ... real.
I should have stuck to Science Fiction.
Maybe then it would have appealed to a larger audience.
I should have represented TGC's interests better, and came up with something that was not so controversial.
I didn't stop to think how it would effect the public's view of the engine.

I wish I had it to do all over again.
So, the best thing I can do is take it out of circulation and start over.

This game comes down when the Sci-Fi gets released.

Hey Conjured,

How did you create a 3rd person perspective in the Hunt For Osama Binladen? I thought that was very innovative and creative when knowing that FPSC is geared toward 1st person games.

I also look forward to your SCIFI game when it comes out. You mentioned in one thread that you'll be able to fly a space ship blowing up aliens and such. I look forward to seeing this sometime soon. Its good to see people go beyond the limits with FPSC.
Keep Up The Good Work!!

What scene are you talking about exactly? (I don't remember doing a 3rd person perspective)
If you are talking about the briefing room...that was done using custom Huds and an FPI Script.

Thanks
