yeah, i was confused on that at first, but now i think i get it. It's not real time, like you said, but it feeds in data from other players to a certain point, I'm not sure to what point, probably just till you start a city, then the AI takes over, acting based on that players actions. You wont get into the game one day and your planet will be gone because another player destroyed it in their game, lol
. Once the AI kicks in, I don't think it takes player input from that civilization anymore.
