Hi, i'm making an aplication in DB like Power DVD.
If anyone wants to help me then you can post here.
Here is a list of things it will hopefuly include:

avi, gif and wma file types=
no keyboard input, just mouse=
full screen movie veiwing=
different resolutions=
fast forward=

=deffinately
=maybe

attached is version 001 of the code. the play, pause, stop and exit buttons work but requires the user to input where the file is stored.

We've already got media players..., so there isn't a big audience for this type of software.

Would the software be able to play DivX, would you know how to code it in to handle different types rather than what dark basic can already handle?

Try a different idea, but your free to follow ur dreams.

never mind. i wasn't thinking of putting it in the big wide world. i was just seeing what dark basic can do. does anybody know of a way of fastforwarding? the only idea i can think of for rewinding is to take a picture of the screen every second and then revert to one of those but that would hardly be practicle.
