I signed up a few days ago, but haven't received a reply. Maybe I'm being too impatient, but what is meant by: "You will be required to supply your nickname on here for that purpose"? I presumed it meant an email confirmation of your identity will be requested. I signed up using the username of 'hpesoj' that I use for most things. You don't mean that we're meant to sign up using our display name on here do you?

The DBP username check thing is just to ensure (a) you are actually a person involved in the game dev community, and not a robot or random signing up for no good reason, and (b) to make sure you're not a trouble maker over here.

Make sure you check your junk mail folder. Your acceptance might've gone in there.

Nope, no email in the junk mail. I didn't expect an acceptance yet, I expected an email to check my identity first of all. I signed up as 'hpesoj', and used the same email as I use on here. Basically, my username hasn't been checked yet.

why do i always find out abouth these things last? I swear the whole motive behind the constant shifting of the Darkbasic forums has just been to try and shake me off!
