Exactly. Which is why we are so happy that Megaton is making this 100% dedicated version of DOTT all by himself. All post your game on the retro remakes site if you are too shy....

Just looked it up. Looks good. Will have to try it out at some point. Ang on.... A pocket PC port of Scumm.... Please tell me this means I can play DOTT on my iPaq.... Oh yes....

Oohh that reminds me of how the floppy versions of DOTT and S&M had talking throughout the first part of the game. Like you I own both versions hehehe.

Nooo! Just went through all my old disks, and found plenty of adventures (inc sam and max, the dig, and Grim Fandango), but no DOTT!!! Have a faint memory of lending it to an old mate saying "This is the best adventure ever", and then never seeing them again. Damn damn damn. Suppose it's not for sale like anywhere either.... I was well looking forward to a bit of touch screen PDA DOTT action too... Heh, don't think I played it on anything more than a 486 DX266 at the time (66Mhz) and my PDA has 400mhz.

Yeah seen that, it's one of the few " low-quality fan remakes" I mentioned in my first post.

Wonder what will happen to it...

All I remember is that LucasArts compilation with Sam & Max, DOTT, Rebel Assault and a few others.

But to spend 45 pounds is probably way too much. Even with all the other games, it's a little much to spend on a 13 year old game.

Yeah, but was the best adventure ever. Damn it. Can't be bothered plugging in S&M either. DOTT on the PDA was what I wanted. Oh well, just keep fingers crossed the LucasArts makes DOTT2

Aha!!! After pretty much turning several rooms upside down I have found the disc! Whoop. And it works! Yes. ScummVM is pretty decent too. Plus I got it to work on my iPAQ. Just copy all the files to the SD card, power it up, work in the same way as on the PC, and whoohoo, DOTT on the PDA! Yes. And it seems to work perfectly! Which it should do considering it is a lot more powerful than the computer I originally ran it on. And since the resolution of the original game is almost exactly the same as the PDA then it looks good too. Compared to a bit poo on my 1600x1200 and 1920x1200 displays.

So cool...
