whenever i look at a code snippet(on the forums) it shows a bunch of weird questions am i surpose to have some special program so they show prperly?

no in the forums the code snippets that sixty has the text is all weird:

i'm not sure if this well appear as i see them or not:
lets see if i can do this:
[] = filled black block
r = a straight line up and then a straight line to the left

Um...sounds like you're either missing a system font, or you have a virus. Or you're on a Mac. Any one of those possibilites are probably you're own fault.

Wierd, I see things fine in Firefox - does sound like you are missing a system font.

Looks fine on mine. A typical mac usually supports more fonts and character sets straight from the box than any windows machine.
