i got a weapon in my shoot em up,it can now shoot but i cant get it to point to the mouse cursor

its needed to aim on an enemy and such.

why not just rotate the player/camera/weapon based on mousemovex and mousemovey, and target the center pixel (or another fixed point)?

well. i suppose (pretty basic) but you could have an object follow the mouse. then have the other objects point too the cordinates of the box folowing the mouse. just a basic conecept. so basic... it might just work....

translating the mouse xy into 3d space will require Vectors math
