Hi guys, just getting back into the Dark, I used the terrain example and tried to change the BMP hieght map in Photoshop, but it was locked, when I copyied it and named it "land1.bmp" and saved it as a 24 bit iamge, when I changed it in the "Make Terrain 1,"Land1.BMP"
I recieved a "can not create terrain at line 10"
What are is required BMP format for hieght maps?
Thanks for your help guys!

The heightmap must be:
a greyscale Bitmap.
2^ power size(2x2,4x4,8x8,16x16,32x32,64x64,128x128,256x256,512x512... pixel per pixel).
The code for terrain creation is:

If it is still not working can you upload the heightmap?

Ah. What you need is the ADVANCED TERRAIN DLL. Go to the DLL Talk board. It's a sticky at the top.
