I just finished this character model for my new game. It's about 700 polys and it has a normal map applied for details.
I plan to create everything in this game myself, all models, textures and animations. So this is bound to be a pretty huge thread!

If anyone got any info on how to make melee attacks work in FPSC, I'd really appreciate it.

That thing is just creepy. I am looking forward to seeing more from you.

Looks real nice. Have you seen 'The Thing' or played the game? It reminds me of similar style creatures Do you have the storyline planned out yet?

Will that be chicken or fish?

wich one, cuz im a huge SH fan and don't recognize it as anything in the series. It has a definite feel of SH, but looks like an original work to me.

I'm not trying to do some silent hill ripoff here.

Working on a m4a1 carbine,
with two arms it's approx 1500 polys.

Thanks,
I have to animate them first in order to put them in the game and show you in-game screenshots, this is a WIP thread so please be patient.

Almost done with the texturing now, a little more work on the normal map and I'm done.

"The Thing" is the one and only must for all you horror people. I watched it yesterday for fifth time and it still gives creeps(no matter that its 24 years old film right?). And the game rocks too. Haven't have time to play it much but still.

Those hands look really good and that creature is creepy. Like nigetzu we are eager to see more about this.

Thanks brummel,
Its about a S.W.A.T team who storms a dna research facility which a maniac is threatning to blow up, they are encountered by a overwhelming bright light that knocks everyone out. One of these men wakes up after a while, to discover that the facility is all messed up. Blood everywhere, some corpses, his team mates gone etc. After a while an bizarre creature attacks him and then the game goes on from there. Basically just killing alot of wierd dna mess-ups

Dude, that storyline is cool. One thing I've just noticed is that the creature has to walk on little spiky bloody things. Can you not add a bone sticking out or something, as that might look a bit wierd walking on little thin spikes in-game
The renders look awesome

indeed, but animating tht would be insane Floating would be kind of creepy I suppose, but I'd like to see this one become a fast screaming thing rather than a floating ghostish thing

tattish, are you still working on this? I was creating a game with the same name and similar plot (I never knew your existed until someone pointed it out!) Here's the thread: http://forum.thegamecreators.com/?m=forum_view&t=95345&b=25&p=0

Should I change the name of mine?
