i realy like this product from what ive seen and i NEED to use it.
but the program makes my whole computer cease up/freeze up/hault/still screen all the time. why is it doing this?

Do you have DirectX 8.0 or higher?

for some reason on my 2000 machine, if you had a disk in the diskdrive (even if it wasn't the db one) then it would freeze after you quited your programme.

I have 2000 and don't have that problem - however, during DB and DB Pro programs, it does decide to spin-up and spin-down once in a while, quite annoying since it freezes until it has either got the disc spinning, or stopped it spinning, depending on which it's trying to do. Although the chance of there being a disc in my drive is quite low.

I could get that on my XP machine as well, but I'll simply never know... it's virtually hamster powered, and it never has a CD in the drive... (Plus I don't do anything on it but use these forums! - DB's out of the question...)
