Hi.
I've been searching for a while now, and can't find any document that explains how the lunar lander game works.
What I need to know are hoe the physics work, what instruments are used, and a general idea about how the game works.

Please explain what Lunar Lander is, or post a link to the game.

I think it's that one where you need to guide your UFO onto a little landing pad. It's 2D.
Correct me if I'm wrong on this please.

It can be 2d or 3d, I think the physics would be the same.

I wrote a version of Lunar Lander on the BBC Micro back in the mid '80s.

It really is quite easy (at least my version was)

Left/Right rotated the ship and SpaceBar applied a thrust in the direction the ship was facing. Apply a constant gravity vector to the ships position and you are done ... almost. All you need now is to check for a collision with the ground and on finding one check the speed and angle of the ship. If it's within acceptable limits then you have landed ... if not you have crashed.

Grant (GeeCee) has written Lunar Lander in Dark Physics, complete with an overload of thruster particles. Maybe TGC will allow the compiled version on the forums
