Hi, im doing a 2d space shooter.I want some alien attack waves to go in circular motion.I was wondering what would be the best way to do this.

Just sprites going in a circle, probably round the user.

You may want to look at some Trigonometry. The COS(Angle) and SIN(Angle) commands are used for the cosine and sine Trigonometry functions.

Here's an example. It doesn't use sprites though. I just made it for ya (it helped me too)

Try looking up a tutorial online about the unit circle. The unit circle relates the cosine and sine functions to points on a circle. It is actually quite easy.

Searching for files named 'sanity'...

Here's a good tutoial on Cosine and Sine, it's where I learned.: Go farther for actual cosine and sine stuff. The beginning is just to help you prepare.

Have a look at GeeCee's tutorials in the newsletters. There is one that does just this kind of thing 2 or 3 issues ago.
