is there any way of checking for collision between the camera and the object. im starting an attempt at a first person game but this is a major obsticle. any help would be apresiated

Well you could always check collsion between object to object by placing an object like a gun in front of the camera.

Cocacola and Pepsi aren't that differnt. Deal with it.

I'm using sparkys collision plugin, and all i do is a sphere collision check on the camera's x,y,z , and use the usual collision setup for it.

Stick your camera on a simple object like a sphere and use object collision commands for good looking 'Camera Collision'.

kk one more thing
i have slight problem with collisions on my program. one wall works but the other does not. can you tell me why and correct my code:::

Ummm... it works for me... Oh, and have a look at the SET CAMERA TO OBJECT ORIENTATION command.

one last problem i want a gun to be the main objective for my level however i cant see it on the game! can some one tell me whats going on?

Your positioning is wrong Try positioning the object at 50,50,200 (where the camera is) and then work from there. Currently you have positioned the object out of your maze.

Whoops meant 50,0,200. Anyway, try that, and if it still doesn't work, change the object to a sphere and see if you can see it. If you can, then change it back to a gun. If you can't see the gun then your model needs to be re-sized using the SCALE OBJECT command.
