on second thoughts i'm not so sure (sorry for my use of bad language).
please people see what they get. when i enter in the .co.nr i get a random freewebs site, different every time. and then when i go via the freewebs link, all of the pictures are screwed up and sometime it won't allow to go to pages. i then logged on to freewebs and half of the files could not be found.

if it is a hacker then can you please go away and leave our site alone. what did we ever do to you?

p.s i recommend that you check out the amazing song 4 messiah

I would love to join the team as a 3d Modeler/Animator. I have sent you an email regarding the details. I use milkshape 3d. I am very skilled at making models and animating them, but im not sure on any other subject.

Edit: by the way, where is the link to hear the messiah song?

Cocacola and Pepsi aren't that differnt. Deal with it.

@game designer 20 , the site seems to be back now, maybe something to do with the freewebs server. you can find the song on the messiah forums.

@slayer i think we have enough 3d modellers, but maybe you could do some animation? we have a main char. model that needs animating

I tested out Sixty Squares sky method and it works well. Best without fog.

And using PSP i came up with a piece of concept art. It includes the sky technique, transporter and landscape.
This is what i'm hoping to achieve in DB once i have the models/textures:

Sounds good! The sky thing was more meant for planets that have clouds in the sky, but it looks good here too

Buildings? When did we get buildings?

Looks pretty decent! Except you aren't always on top of the landscape, the skybox is pretty small, and there are too many buildings...

Are these buldings only primary?

@The Wilderbeast: Wow that looks great! I want to see it with a sky and w/out fog. I think it wouldn't look too bad

@Xenocythe: The buildings were made by Ginga and he has worked very hard on them. Also, if you can figure out how to get some sliding collision working in DBC please share.

That doesnt make sense, even if you only complete 1 of the items on the to-do list, you're making progress.

No, you wouldn't.

The only possible explanation that you want us to finish a project we volunteered for so quickly is that your trying to show it off somewhere or a group of friends wants you to a create a game so you can prove to them that you can make one?

I dunno, just taking a wild guess. You know, it's not like we were hired, or getting payed.

You are right in the fact that this is going kinda slow though. But let us take our time with the list.

@lucifer

if you're thinking that The Wilderbeast is the leader and everyone else is working for him, than you're wrong. All though it somewhat comes off like that, he actually has been doing alot with this project unlike other team projects where the leader does nothing.

Cocacola and Pepsi aren't that differnt. Deal with it.

well it does look (from my point of view) like he's demanding stuff and being controlly and stuff...

yes, I know, he is being somewhat demanding when it comes to the to-do list, but if you go on to the messiah forum, you'll see that he is doing his part of the project and not just sitting around giving orders.

Cocacola and Pepsi aren't that differnt. Deal with it.

thanks for that gamedeisgn er20

no offence game making but you've only just started using DB, and we require more advanced users (btw, we have a full team).

yeah, it might look like i'm being controlly... but isn't that a leaders job? there's a difference between demanding something being made for you and doing f' all... and being in control but being an active contributer.

i wouldnt say hes demanding at all, the 'to-do' list is the first REAL thing hes put a time on. And there are reasons its slow going, for example, i dont know of any one in the team who can work on it 24/7. im not able to spend hours and hours a day on it as i have a job n a kid to look after but we all do our bit.

I have a few questions.

What kind of aircraft sounds do you want?

I can get aircraft sounds from three sources:
1. A nearby airfield/airpark.
2. A family friend owns a airplane.
3. The Internet.

Does this mean I am in?
