use "set camera view" to put the unwanted cameras all to the top left corner and the camera you are currently using over the screen.

i should hopefully b getting DBP for my bday (YAY) and i know it has multipul cameras, i've had a GREAT idea for a game, but it would involve using 8 cameras, all showing the same thing. would that be possible?

yes, it would be as simple as putting all the camera's in the same position and rotating the same angle. You would then use set camera view to change what parts of the screen displayed which camera.

i havent been able to make the 'make camera' command work correctly
though
or does the 'set camera view' just change the first cameras spot?

Kinda... Set Camera View will set how much of the screen that that camera takes up (the one you specify). It works like the 2d BOX command does. Here's a basic camera example I just made:

this example is slightly off what you want but will help in understanding cameras in DBP.
