edit: oh, you mean them finding 40 year old guys who say they are girls? Sick. nvm this post then."

Not as bad as this freak pr*** I know called Darryl, he went onto MSN with this emo I know, he posed as a 14 year old girl (Darryl) and started to chat him up, then after a while of seducing him, asked him to masturbate on web cam for him, and then posted the picture on his myspace for everyone to see and sent it to all of his myspace contacts, quite foolishly, not realising our head of year was on his contacts list, so he ended up getting suspended...Whats worse masturbating for someone thinking they're a 14 year old girl, or watching someone do it on webcam out of request...

What social ladder? MySpace is mostly about adding the friends that you already know in real life...meeting new people online is just an extra bonus that comes with signing up. If you have no RL friends to begin with, then yes you will need to climb the ladder.

I don't really have a thing for super unique or wacky layouts...and couldn't really be bothered setting one for myself. My page is just a bio and place for friends to see (or will be). If people wanna see a pretty layout with colours, then that's what my website's for.

Though I have taken the initiative to start making little thumbs to represent things like like. Nothing fancy, but a nice change from other profiles. Me

I need to set up a new div layout for my profile. The one I have is more than boring x.x maybe I'll just steal one. But yeah, div layouts are the way to go if you hate the Myspace clutter or want to do everything yourself or whatnot.

Okay, I officially hate MySpace. I reluctantly signed up as a musician, and then went to get my own MySpace URL. I chose myspace.com/jeku and went through all the warnings, as apparently it can't be changed.

Finally it said congrats, my myspace address is http://www.myspace.com/119286353

!!!

What!??! That is so.... not what I wanted.

Cancel your account and start again mate. Because the site is such a piece of crap, I made a few irreversible errors and just cancelled and started again. Make sure you setup a musician account, rather than a normal one, and make sure you can hotlink to your tunes on another server, because I've had mine "processing" sinse upload for over a week, and there are no signs of them being on my page yet.

MySpace is incredibly crap. The only thing good about it is the networking with friends. The rest is utter utter utter utter crap.

Personally I would've liked to see what happened to the site design had Google bought it rather than News Corp. Oh well...

i tried to cancel my account.
i had to go through 10 different pages like "are you sure you want to cancel you account?" -yes. "this cannot be undone, continue?" -yes. "are you really sure about this?" -yes. "i need your email so i can verify you are the owner of this account".

i entered my email i registered with and it said "thank you, please follow the link provided in the email to cancel your account".

but i haven't recieved that email yet :/

Hmmm, funny how we all hate myspace (myself included) but we all have one.

www.myspace.com/agentdink
...I think that's the link. I haven't been there in a long time. It might have an underscore between agent and dink...

It's boring... nothing to do on the site.
