If something, well, less than pleasant, happened to Hawkeye, (heaven forbid) would the 1,000,001 st poster become the new winner? Just curious.

I bet the mods arent too concerned (or jealous) with this "prize" business anymore, eh? eh?

Actually I contacted Rich in secret about that possible event and he said it would got a forum member named Cian Rice who lived in Hopkinton, Massachusetts because he has a funny name.

What if a mod were to block enough posted posts right now that they could become the millionth public poster... hypothetically, of course.

Sorry to stick my nose in here, but when you sell 3rd party products, the creator gets the money Do you have to shell out for all the many to the creators for a prize?

Nice one Hawkeye

The prize (just like with any other prize we offer, unless specifically donated by the 3rd party author) is just added to our sales system so it can be sent to the winner. Thus, the 3rd party authors get their share as per usual, so in effect yes we do pay for it.

I guess I should reveal it then...I'm Hawkeye, it's just my second account. So contact me about giving Hawkeye...erm...I mean me...all the good free stuff.

EDIT: Just out of curiosity, how many items is it that Hawkeye...erm...I...will be recieving, because it sure seems like a lot. And how much money is that that it'd all cost (again, just out of curiosity).

Well, as multiple people have come clean as being Hawkeye, I suppose it's only fair to warn the mods and Rich that nearly ALL the forum members are actualy just Hawkeye's many accuonts. He consists of just about every account that was made after 2003... He has in fact, been suporting the forums almost single handedly the entire time.

Not really for this prize... He was hired by a annanamous 3rd party and it's his job to keep these forums running with tons of posts. You can tell he's been working overtime recently.

Congrats on the great prize Hawkeye.

Hope you can put it to good use. I am jealous but at the same time glad it is going to someone who will try to get the most out of the package.

Also thanks to TGC for such a great prize package.

I miss you very much.

Well...

The TGC forums are actually populated by a hive mind group of monkeys with type writers and a big dumpster full of brown bananas. This hive mind was employed by one we, that is, the collective hive mind group of monkeys, know as "the-man-with-the-yellow-hat-and-a-green-banana-in-his-ear."

The-man-with-the-yellow-hat-and-a-green-banana-in-his-ear promised us green bananas and an island paradise, but all we really got was a run down warehouse, a dumpster full of brown bananas, and a T1 land line connection. We, the collective hive mind group of monkeys, were told that if we served the-man-with-the-yellow-hat-and-a-green-banana-in-his-ear well for twenty four years, we would get our promised green bananas, island paradise, and a few girls as a bonus. All we had to do was establish and maintain forty two forum profiles.

Green bananas...

What I find funny about this is that Mnem and Nick Kingsley (I've given up keeping up with his latest nickname) are responsible between the two of them for about 63.4% of all the posts on the forums and yet somehow neither of them won the prize.

He didn't win because HE posted 1,000,000 posts - he had THE 1,000,000-th post... The total sum of everyone's posts was 999,999 and then he posted 1 to make it 1,000,000.

I thought he had made 1,000,000 posts!
Okay!

So chances of me getting the 2,000,000 post are slim!
