Mr. Fletcher
Jesus, mary, joseph and all the disciples Jon?!
What are ya doing to me!I looked at that screen you posted and just hoped you'd have some freak accident and get electrocuted by the keyboard and die...
But seriously, that's some really tasty work there dude, I didn't put a great deal of effort into the ship as I wasn't even sure if the theory of flight/land/boarding it would work, but now I've seen this I'm gonna have to dissapear off and model me a decent version of mine!
I wouldn't mind seeing a side version view of yours (and you always complain when you don't see orthographic), I can't really tell but is the back open? tha'd be really cool. Make sure on export, the point where the player will stand is exactly over the axis... that seems to be where the player is assosiated to..
I'm inspired by your work man, it shows me how far I have to go. We can keep this as a dropship thread, WHen you've got it mapped and FPSC ready, I'll drop you the scripts on email, cuz I'd love to see your ship in action (that sounds like dirty sailor talk).
Don't worry about hijacking the thread, although I'm sure it's your posterior that people will kiss now!

Thanks man, it was nice to see that you were stickin' up for the scripters around here! LOL.
That was my thoughts exactly, but you've gotta admit it's a tasty model.

Yeah...because life is just that peachy.
This is models and media forum, not the "NOOBS giveaway Bonanza", I was only posting to get peoples feedback and ideas. Thanks for yours by the way...

Looks really sharp, now we need a nice tank to go with it.
And that's what we're doing... Gonna have a rotating turret that points at the player and everything!
Everyone else.
Thanks for the feedback guys, and the continued support. It's nice comments that make the effort worthwhile. I don't think I'll be giving the model away just yet, but I will give the script away, so that you can apply it to your own models. It's pretty nifty as you can use it to spawn anything from any moving entity.
