Just over 800 tris.

Not a freebie yet, but once it has made its debut in my game I'll be releasing it to the community, along with sleeved and gloved variations.

Cheers

That is incredible, it looks very lifelike. I may point out however that his knuckles are a little pointy. But extremely good model and texture

Tiggle bitties you say? What is that?

I don't know.

That's sweet. You should make it a bloody stump, so that it looks severed. Then turn it into a melee weapon so you can beat people with it.

Wow, that must of taken ages to do the texturing, I can't believe how detailed it is, your work is really impressive and I can't believe you gave the p90 away free it was awesome.

what are you intending to do with the hand, are you making it into a weapon, like fists?

Photo or not, definitly some of the better hands I've seen around here. The hand looks like it should deform well GPS. Poly count seems a lil steep though.

Good luck with these

Thanks for the compliments guys

FredP - You mean my standard P90? Or the new triple rail tactical version with Aimpoint scope and suppressor - coming soon to a forum near you...

bond1 - you're a sick man... don't ever change!

Jon - It's more like half a dozen photos of three different hands (all hail the conquering clone tool!). The thing I've found with trying to use a single photo is that nobody has a 'normal' hand. I know that sounds odd, but there it is. Same thing with over-all human proportions. We're all just mutants LOL

Locrian - yep, I'm going for the smoothest deformations, with a view to optimising the mesh for specific applications. For instance, with a pistol-gripping hand, I can delete almost the entire palm, and fuse some of the joints (particularly around the wrist).

Speaking of the palm, I've still got that to texture. I'll post more images when I'm done.

Cheers

- Graham

That is one heck of a p90.
I didn't think it would be possible for you to make one that was better than the first one.

Zaibatsu - 2067 polys/3151 tris - which is fairly high but still less than the stock FPSC WW2 sniper rifle. As you might guess, the scope is the main culprit for bumping up the polycount, but this is the 'looks good from all angles' version LOL. The HUD version will be about 300 tris lighter.

Don't mean to bump this one more time; but I never saw this thread before. Sweet work, though you could lose a few polys around the finger joints (if that would help with in-game performance, otherwise keep them). Love the new version of the P90 too.

Always jealous of your skills,

Keith
