A few people have asked if I could make the zombies from Model Pack 4 "play dead" like the one from Model Pack 2.

I've attached a download for Model Pack 4 users that will allow this behavior. It basically adds 6 new variations of the zombies. They appear dead, laying either face up or face down. When you approach them, they will rise and attack. Follow the directions carefully, there is no installer. It basically involves copying the files to your Model Pack 4 folder, and copying the included script to your "scriptbank/people" folder.

That's it. Enjoy!

You're welcome! I think it would be a good way to introduce enemies in your game. Like a quiet room full of debris with a corpse laying face down, a good way to build suspense and surprise.

And for those that care about this sort of thing, I improved the script over the one I made from Model Pack 2. This new one doesn't use any timers, which we all know by now causes all sorts of problems when you try and use more than one.

hopefully lee will put entity timers into the next update.

I altered your script to use entitytimers with empty's mod and it works a dream.

thanks for the extra curricular work Bond... much appreciated.

Thanks again Bond!

Best.

Sure, I don't care. The script isn't too complicated. It works in conjuction with 2 new animation indexes I added to the FPE file, check out animation index 93 and 94. Actually, you could add these indexes to ANY character, because it just uses the default animation, nothing custom. You'll want to adjust the script for an armed character though.

You already got one request in the last update Butters (settargetname)

I'm hoping for headhsot detection in some future version for real zombie action.
Maybe in the X10 (crosses fingers)
