I found the trench that someone had done and gave them a try but they shot the fps down to much?
So have been working on some of my own to use.
Not as fancy as the other ones but the fps is good on them.
See the screenshots. if you like I could make a installer for them I guess.

Cool to have some baddies with snipers shooting at ya from the other Trenchs.

To be fair here is the other Trenchs and they look better then mine.
But you will have to test them yourself to see if you want to use them.

Candle, why don't ya make a segment where the floor is higher then normal with your current textures. I think having the player higher then the edge by a little bit would help the look. For a trench to protect you in real life you'd need to duck down right?(I know you cant control how far ya duck down in fpsc, but I'm just saying"). Then maybe make one segment for the ends that has a slight incline to it.

Just some ideas for ya, but good work. I'm a poly counter myself and most those free trenches offered round here are way to high for me.

Good luck

Well I have the floor offset with -5 and that gives you the high to shoot over the top and see the enemy but I found the war2 guys are to short so had to put a Small Pallette in the Trench so you could just see the heads. lol
I'm using signs to do the Trenches . but if I off set the floor more then the -5 to raise it you can't see the floor then.

Candle something people Like Errant and myself are doing is running all characters at 90% and not 80% like the stock FPE says. This is closer to a correct height when you walk up and are face to face with a char. Not sure if your doing that...but it may help.

I do think they look rather clean. If these are meant to be WW1, they need to be sandbags, really. Also, the edges look way too smooth. You know, they are pretty much a perfect 90o angle, which after a little bit of shelling, wouldn't be the case
Still, some great work again! Nice to see you getting back into the forums again... I remember a brief time we didnt see much of you :S

Will see, I don't release things unless I think they are ready.
I was looking at the Cliffs in the Modern Day pack and they make a good Trenches , I just had to make a new floor and raise it up a little .

Signs can now import custom walls, which can be made into segments.

Thats a custom wall.

If your talking about the kind grey one that is from a model pack that I made a fake floor for it to raise it up so you could see over the top.
The last one I used signs with the textures I made.
