I pass out usually around 12 or 1 on Christmas Eve after drinking and having fun with the family.

If you can't sleep might I suggest reading a Math textbook?

I no longer actually get excited that much about Christmas anymore. I always know what I'm getting, and it's never really anything special because I already have lots of stuff

heh... for some reason, even if i have zero excitement for getting presents, i always wake up about 3 am with my adrenaline pumping

it's not really fun when you just want to sleep... and you have no idea why you're awake... (when i was younger sure i was excited about presents... but now i have no idea why i am.. i guess my body is just used to being excited for Christmas )

Ya, its disappointing that I no longer get the "traditional" Christmas, and I haven't really had one in 3 years now. I sure do miss being allowed one present to open on Christmas eve, and then trying to get to sleep only to wake up and head over to my moms house for the big unwrapping. This year I just asked my dad for dark physics and my mom a wii, got both too. So I'm not complaining, just reminiscing.

Back by unpopular demand!
Battle Legacy has gone MMORPG! Nah, Im just kidding. But seriously, check the WIP

At least your family buys you things online.

But really, this year is all about the kids. I'm super stoked to watch my little nephew (3 yrs) and niece (1 yr) open their gifts

Yeah, it's weird this year; I'm looking forward to my family opening the presents I bought them rather than getting anything myself - in fact, there is only a single thing I would like this year for Christmas, and that's a Wii - but I have absolutely no chance of getting one

yeah, my parents didn't want to buy me some online software because i wouldn't "be able to open it on christmas morning"

but that's fine, just seems weird from my point of view

I pretty much go to sleep within 10 min of putting my head on my pillow... no matter how much caffeine I have in me. Nothing keeps me awake.

falling asleep made easy by Zaibatsu:

1. Drink can of beer (may be subsituted for sugary stuff if you're too young)

2. play loud rock music

3. turn volume up louder

4. do some kind of wierd shaky dance where you jump up and down alot

5. continue for 10 minutes without break

6. hit head on something hard

7. turn voume down

8. do 50 jumping jacks

9. do 50 sit-ups

10. do 5 chin-ups

11. do 20 push-ups

12. do 15 jumping jacks

13. turn off music

14. lay down and let nature take its course

Once again you've snatched defeat from the jaws of victory!

I'm a big kid myself (no, really), so the best part is watching the young-uns open their presents. I have to say I've outdone myself this year, so the little gimps better appreciate it .

My fave present has to be the Still Game 5 series box set, 1000 minutes of the best Scottish comedy in decades .

I haven't really had any trouble falling asleep on Christmas until a few years ago, right now my strategy is to exercie so much I'm so tired I just fall asleep. I always wake up at about 6:00, but since going to bed at 1:00 AM isn't getting much sleep + the sensory overload of all my cousins playing their new graphic video games, I fall asleep at 6:00 PM on Christmas. I'm going to my other grandmom's this year, fewer and younger cousins + they're not into video games, so no one's going to get mesmeried by a brand new Wii. I just remembered tomorrow's my DBP's birthday! I remember last year, I tried to make my dream game the week I got it, wow it's been a whole year since I made that mistake. I just bought/activated Caligari gameSpace today, I had to buy it myself because no one in my family's ever given a virtual gift.

Don't forget to play my Christmas game everyone, it predicts how many presents you're going to get.

I just play video games until I start passing out in my chair, then I crawl up onto my bed... Which is right behind my chair. Oh wait... I do that every night.

When I have insomnia, I grab my iPod and listen to Opeth, Damnation is the best album to help you sleep.

However on Christmas Eve, I watch TV until 0:30, went on my computer for 1/2 an hour and when it came for me to sleep, I slept like a log because I was tired, so basically I did what I do every night (well 0:30 and earlier is the norm for me, not 1:00)

I might spank the kids, have a beer, then stay up all night, all the while cursing the world and this holiday wishing to God that I could just go to sleep. Bah humbug.

I usually just watch TV, or watch a movie. Works like a charm. It's best watching Tales from the Cyrpt. Not sure why that show makes me sleepy, kind of odd.

It's amazing how much TV has raised us. (Bart Simpson)
